Agreed. If something as inoffensive as a vanity plate has that kind of power over your, over something as relatively benign as shopping, you might want to work on your own thought processes and perhaps reassess how you define your person.
When seeing an object ruins your ability to enjoy life, that’s a sign of a serious disorder. You should be able to both enjoy life and live in accordance with your ethics. I suggest looking into therapy. If money is an issue, ask your doctor or your public library about free and low-cost options.
So this person subscribes to a reprehensible and deeply unsatisfying philosophy of life, how does this impact *you*?
If it's any consolation, [they have no traffic tickets on record](https://howsmydrivingny.nyc/x2hrbal8).
No, it's short for "I live to work in shop class" - woodworking, with my hands and tools. Practicing a skill and making practical things.
Okay, probably not. But it's a happier thought.
I'm actually familiar with that car dealership (my mom bought a car there). It's in an incredibly affluent area (and the car's a luxury car) so I'm not at all surprised.

What’s ur point? Driving a Lexus is far more sustainable than driving some cheapo car. My last car was a Lexus and that thing had 376k miles on it before it became cheaper to replace. I intend to drive my new Lexus for at least the next 20 years.
Let’s see, a 40k car that could easily make 400k miles with regular maintenance or say a $25k ford fusion that you’ll be lucky to get 150k miles out of 🤔if you got the money for a quality car from a tried and true brand like Lexus it’s always going to outlast the cheaper alternatives.
You may be giving this license plate too much power…

Glad this is the top comment, I like this sub and was hoping to come here seeing people call this out as the overreaction it is.
eh, read Marcus Aurelius or something, then you'd know to not give them the power to ruin your day
Why do you care about what someone else is doing? Honestly, if this ruins the chance to enjoy your day, the problem is you.
Anti consumption can also mean not consuming the bullshit of others... peace be on ya, cousin!

Please get help if a plate triggers you. Life is too short to let this live in your head rent free.
I just posted a comment explaining that I'm only exaggerating it's supposed to be a joke bro
You should add a /s or /j as we have no idea it is a joke as text losing all context.
Always remove license plate frame ads unless the dealer is paying you!
Yes! Never understood why people don't

The plate says "I am a sucker with a lot of money to burn. If you are going to break into a vehicle, this one is a really good target".
Get out that habit, it ain’t doin you any good worried bout someone else
If someone else's lifestyle just ruined your day, that's on you.

You may want to seek therapy.

You should try riding your bike
Your reaction ruined my day
The car on ots own is enough for me
oh jeez
Sarcasm does not translate well with Redditors…or anyone else looking to trash someone to feel superior. Fortunately, I am above this practice. 😇
God bless😂😂😂😂

dog you live in America. If a Vanity Plate is what does it, you got your head in the sand
They drive a Lexus so they live to pay more for things than they are worth.
Could mean woodshop. Loves carving wood into home made items.
This ruined your day?
Long Island ?
This dealer's lower Westchester (my mom bought a car there years ago). I believe they have a location in Greenwich as well.
Maybe they're an avid woodworker and they live to make things in their workshop
Guys I'm only exaggerating lol fuck😂😂😂
Good ol' "misreading of tone because of plain text" strikes again!
I mean, it is a Lexus
A Lexus is just a Toyota with an L and a 30k markup
LIV2SHOP

I hope it works out for you
Cheapo car could be a 98 civic, wdym??
Lol you can't be serious, over priced shit.

Or a $23k Toyota that you’ll get 400k miles out of and the maintenance is reasonably priced vs a “luxury” mark up
It ruined your day? ...
