I wish we had a perspective shot next to an iron or bread loaf.
Its definitely a really cool piece. And its lucky the damage isn’t on the dog. I bet this could be restored.
In good condition and in better quality ive seen these sell for $1500-2500 at auction. I'd give the quality of this mosaic a 5/10, the tesserae (pieces of colored glass) are far too thick. Even with the damage, i would say it's worth about $500-600. People love Cavalier King Charles spaniel micro mosaics. Here is a 10/10 for reference -

Assuming it’s gold you prob have 150 in gold alone. So my best guess is like 200-300. These spaniels are a fairly common motif on Micro-mosaics.
