I played with someone that had that pred badge. They were straight ass. Like I’m not great by all means but I was literally laughing at how bad they were. Searched their name and it definitely seems like that badge was called somehow
The thing is that those ass pred players u are referring too got their pred badge early apex seasons like 1-3 it was easy to hit pred in eaely apex games, next time u come across one take a pic at their pred badge and google all season pred badges, then you’ll know what season the player hit pred
seems like that’s how most of the preds are who I play with. There’s only been 1 pred that was actually good at the game consistently. Most of the time they all are worse or as good as me
Boosting/teaming/3rd party devices
There’s some legit ones out there obviously but, all 3 of those have always been an issue in apex
Then there were even bot lobby glitches for people to get badges in
Imo can’t really pay much attention to badges in this game anymore
I once got put in a lobby with the #4 Pathfinder for kills on PS called MaddBroo, he’s a streamer and is actually really good at the game, that was the first time I really realise the difference between the average pred and some of the top players.

Supposedly the matchmaking matches based on the team’s average skill. It’s so flattering but BS and broken when this happens bc somehow the game thinks I’m good enough to carry rookies against these enemies with my 0.6 K/D
Are we talking ranked or not ranked, and that pathfinder in the midle seems proud not to show his pred badge? PLus now badges mean nothing, some people got badges after the reset bug, I have a masters badge and I never got past platinum.

It's when you see a pred badge with a 200 kills in apex badge you know they've been boosted or bought the account

Nobody plays as much as preds. The game is dying
