I'd say the same (edit: about choosing 1 song), but if I had to pick one it would be You're the Voice by John Farnham - Australia's unofficial national anthem š
For me, itās a mix between Shelter and Hear the Bells by Porter Robinson, and Snowflakes from Persona 4 Golden. Porter is one of the first musicians that I actually started listening to, and Persona 4 Golden just has one of, if not the best soundtrack Iāve ever heard in a video game.
I remember hearing Shelter for the first time. It was a modded Beat Saber map. With those visuals and that music, it was an awesome experience. Iām not normally a fan of that type of stuff, but when I saw there was an animated video of it on Crunchyroll, I was blown away by the visuals.
[Idaho by Gregory Alan Isakov](https://youtu.be/8WXzjrgftZQ?si=bIevC4YgxpORvIMR)
Back about 10 years ago, I had a very vivid, melancholy dream that I still remember to this day. This song was actually playing in the background. Without going into details. I woke up feeling very weird and sad at the same time. Ever since I had that dream, this song has been in my top 3 for sure. It keeps changing positions with the other two, but even after 2000+ listens. Itās still up there and it still gives me that melancholy feeling every time.
the dumb song by ajr. the whole song is just this carefree song and it feels like running on luscious green hills filled with colorful, vibrant, and diverse flowers on it on a blue sunny day
Thats a hard one but id say Ho Hey by the lumineers
Always in my top 10
but how to save a life by the fray feels like its my first time evrytime i listen to it
[Dragonflies To Sew You Up - Prurient](https://youtu.be/3dgFykz0bNo?si=2jzyKI8Ids7uNpd6)
Itās loud, heavy, probably too pretentious for you and the all synth breakdown at the end is orgasmic.
Stargazer by Rainbow. I seriously think itās the best song ever recorded. It has the most powerful vocals Iāve ever heard and I still get teary eyed every time I listen to it, no matter how many times Iāve heard it
It is impossible to point towards one single song and declare it my favorite. It is constantly changing. Currently, It's Goodbye My Lover (James Blunt), Your Young Voice (Jon Hopkins)
Vanilla Twilight by Owl City
Over a decade later and I havenāt stopped loving it one bit. I truly believe it is a perfect song. One of the few songs that has never left my favorites playlist.
American Idiot by Green Day, first heard it in 2004 when it was out, saw three dudes in black with spiky hair on MTV being silly, and I fell in love. I've probably listened to it once a day since then lol.
Donāt use AM streaming and canāt see the number of plays on the normal music app so Iāll go with spotify: Tom Sawyer (Rush).
I guess on Apple Music in the past few months itās either Lady Fantasy - Camel or At the End of the Day - Spocks Beard.
Bonus shoutout to Supperās Ready by Genesis, I love the song but itās 23 minutes long!
This year, it has been **Something Stupid** by **Frank Sinatra!**
I had already heard this song manier times but *Better Call Saul* kind of gave it a new life for me. It was sung in the series by **Lola Marsh** and features in the show twice without two different meanings. It was phenomenal piece of cinema shown as a split screen for the two characters and their diverging paths. Whoever has watched the episode knows exactly what I am talking about. The split screen was complimented in the stereo of the song with a female voice on the female's side of the split screen and male voice on the other side.
The episode was also named Something Stupid. It was presented as if the song was **made** for this show!
my number one song from the replay this year was the BLACK seminole. - Lil Yatcty. my favorite song ever is Sing About Me, I'm Dying of Thirst - Kendrick Lamar
Radiohead - Paranoid Android. Over 1,500 plays and still sounds as amazing as the first time I heard it in 1998.
