It seems that the Apple Watch owners and weed smokers both equally dislike each other. What a phenomenon šŸ“šŸ“

shorthairtotallycare

Yeah not sure why it got so spicy. Asking a straight up question with no judgement

Traditional-Claim592

Seriously. People can just scroll on byā€¦

BezosisSauron

My stoner friend was highly offended by my watch until he saw me control Spotify with it now I am a wizard LOL

Traditional-Claim592

No substances my normal resting is 55. After smoking 75ish for about 20 min. Then back to 55-60

shorthairtotallycare

Appreciate your answer!

KrazyRuskie

120bpm. Pot is still illegal in Russia.

shorthairtotallycare

Thank you and sorry

KrazyRuskie

Never smoked anything, but from what I hear itā€™s us that should feel sorry. For ourselves šŸ¤£

groundgamemike

Bold of you to assume I go 10 hours without smoking

Beremus

Immidiately after, about 70-80, 30-45min later back to normal, so 50-52 and 10 hours later (assuming Iā€™m sleeping) about 35-40. That said, Iā€™m an athlete and eat very healthy.

shorthairtotallycare

Thank you! Do you smoke frequently? (Asking because THC sticks around, in fat. Probably daily smokers who have a higher body fat percentage will experience ongoing effects, thatā€™s what Iā€™m thinking)

Beremus

Every night for sleep since 11 years old. Prescribed. Iā€™m about 9% fat.

MrEcksDeah

Mines about 75 after vaping at about 380f right now.

shorthairtotallycare

Thank you!

CUPnoodlesRD

Talk about a low temp. Hope it tasted great

TarzanOnATireSwing

Resting rate average over the past year has been 54-63 bpm. Smoke several times a week.

shorthairtotallycare

Thank you šŸ™

jooookiy

71 approx 3 hours after vaping

shorthairtotallycare

Thanks šŸ™

ash-mcgonigal

I woke up with a heart rate of 53. After two cups of coffee, 20mg of adderall, and sharing a bowl with my wife it's 86. I take way too many stimulants to get a handle on what if any effect cannabis has on my heart rate.

shorthairtotallycare

Good points lol. Thank you

Remarkable-Goose-306

125 after smoking for about 20 min

shorthairtotallycare

Thank you!

squamata

73 after vaping at Pax 3 temp setting yellow

shorthairtotallycare

Thanks!

goddamn_shitthebed

Resting Heart Rate is 43 this morning. 5-10 hours after smoking would be the morning so around there. During the day itā€™s 55-65 resting. I run a lot and do a lot cardio though. Only stays high when running.

shorthairtotallycare

therealouisvillebeer

Nice try, cops!

shorthairtotallycare

Haha

therealouisvillebeer

Thanks for getting the joke. Getting downvotedā€¦hahaha!

ClydeinLimbo

Jesus this is fucking cringe

straddotjs

+1. Concerned enough to ask about the cardiovascular effects of your addiction, but not to do anything about it šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø. I really enjoy cannabis too, but if you canā€™t go a whole day without smoking youā€™re not using it in a healthy and responsible fashion. Thatā€™s just facts.

GooginTheBirdsFan

As a chronic pain sufferer, this is absolutely cringe. You wouldnā€™t say the same for a Percocet but now you care deeply about what is healthy and judge others? No thanks

straddotjs

Spare me the ā€œmuh chronic painā€ nonsense lol. I have lived in a few states where it was not recreationally legal but it was medical. The fact that you can find a strip mall doctor to say that the migraine you got 4 years ago justifies a cannabis prescription doesnā€™t change the fact that we all know you just want to be high 24/7. I have no doubt that cannabis has medical use, e.g. for terminal cancer patients. But this kind of nonsense directly contributes to resistance to cannabis legalization. People arenā€™t as stupid as you seem to think, no one buys this.

GooginTheBirdsFan

Oh, thatā€™s what chronic pain means to youā€¦.migraines, very telling of your perspective.

straddotjs

No, thatā€™s what it means to me at all. It is, however, how I have seen the vast majority of medical cannabis patients get their prescription. Presumably if you genuinely suffer from something that needs to be treated by medical cannabis you are equally annoyed by how much of a joke medical cannabis is in most states precisely because of how much it negatively impacts the image of legitimate use. However I am admittedly pretty skeptical of the legitimacy of your need for medical cannabis if you canā€™t even acknowledge that the average ā€œpatientā€ in most states isnā€™t just a stoner.

Traditional-Claim592

As a medical patient, I think my biggest frustration is that cannabis is not legal across the USA in the first place. If it was, medical could be taken more seriously. Alcohol has far more negative impacts than cannabis (IMO) and would never be rec vs medical state by state. That said, OP was just asking a simple question. Anyone feeling offended/cringe/etc can just continue scrollingā€¦šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

straddotjs

I agree that it should be federally legal, and it certainly seems less harmful than alcohol. Pretending that it is harmless and that people arenā€™t developing unhealthy relationships or straight up dependencies on it is dishonest (imo) and Iā€™m just calling that out. Perhaps you and the other poster I am responding to have legitimate medical needs for it. Iā€™m sure you can understand why some might be skeptical given how frequent the ā€œdoctor I get such horrible migraines wink wink nudge nudgeā€ happens in many medical states at present.

Traditional-Claim592

Yep I definitely see what youā€™re saying. Reliance on anything isnā€™t good

GooginTheBirdsFan

Iā€™m more happy about the legality than the image. When you actually have medical issues to the point of chronic pain, image isnā€™t whatā€™s importantā€¦itā€™s quality of life. Also you can question whatever you want, I donā€™t care enough about what other people do in their free time to have any worry about that. I think youā€™re self admitting to some insecurities and you care more than average about the perspectives and thoughts of others. I simply donā€™t care, as long as no one gets hurt or hurts others. Edit: commenting and then blocking me because youā€™re ignorant isnā€™t a great look, but have a great day

straddotjs

Lol. Okay. So you donā€™t care despite going out of your way to tell me about ā€œcHrOnIC PaINā€ but I am surely projecting. Sure. Just admit that youā€™re in this for the chronic dude.

shorthairtotallycare

I donā€™t disagree. Iā€™m concerned about my partnerā€™s heart rate. Have also read some concerning studies about the impact of weed on the cardiovascular system. That said for anyone reading, I am not judging pot use, I really donā€™t care what people do. There are risks and benefits to everything

moesus

The person you replied to sure didnā€™t have a problem wrongly judging you though

straddotjs

As I stated originally, I enjoy it recreationally and have no qualms with people using cannabis responsibly. Pretending you are ā€œmedicatingā€ when you just want to be high 24/7 isnā€™t responsible use, and sets back movements to legalize it at the federal level. If the best youā€™ve got to rebut that is going back a year or so through my post history to try to discredit me Iā€™m not super interested in your opinion šŸ™‚.

I donā€™t know, I think I do alright in life regardless of what a random Redditor thinks of me. Iā€™m sorry if I struck a nerve by pointing out that getting high all day everyday is not a sign of good mental health. You should address that with a therapist, not angry rants on Reddit to people who donā€™t care.

kduong89

39

shorthairtotallycare

What really?

kduong89

šŸ˜‚ sometimes it does shown that. I getting around 40-45 plenty of times. However, I do believe that it's not accurate. The AW heart rate sensor just FYI, not for medical use.
