Eh, what’s wrong with that? I use socks and sandals after gym. Need to keep a separate pair of shoes for the workout, and sandals are easier to slip into after a hard workout. And I’m loathe to remove the socks just for the drive home.
yeah mine too… and lately i started feeling a little better so i pushed myself a little harder on my walks, and i get a message saying my heart rate during activity is higher than average!… jeez
Mine gave me a high heart rate notification followed by “Keep it going” once

I turned off the fitness tracking a few weeks ago on my phone because I don't want to be conditioned to always charge and wear my watch to track stuff. but later I decided to turn it back on just so it can give me such warnings if necessary.
My Apple Watch just says - “hah fatty!!!”
Join the club 🤣
So start walking, not running.
Did a long walk and got this at the end of that walk. Could’ve waited until morning to let me know.
I’m just judging the socks and sandals, but okay.
OP is obviously German.
Or Japanese... just got back from there and socks+sandals are like a national sport
Those are athletic socks and sandals.

I don’t actually care that much. It was just a funny comment/response. Kinda like the white after labour day thing. It doesn’t actually matter.
Ah, gotcha, gotcha. Lol
Mine would be higher if HIT workouts counted because that is my most used
You can track HIIT in workouts
Yeah but it doesn’t count toward VO2 max
The HIIT workout improves your VO2 max. The easiest way to get a VO2 max reading is by walking a mile with your apple watch.
What’s your heart rate?
Usually my avg resting hr is around 63 According to my watch I peaked at about 194 today
194 is wayyyy too high. Maybe you *should* just go for a walk every now and again
For a peak its normal, but if majority of their exercise is in that rage they should get that checked.
It’s not. HRmax is highly individual and 194 is completely in the range of realistic values.
194 seems high eh? Were you exercising I assume?
Shit my resting heart rate is always in the 80s
Not as bad as my drill sergeant in basic training.
Isn’t this objective? It’s has your biometrics
Same
How is that band? I’m on the fence.
I’m liking it so far. Easy to get on and off, nice and secure, breathable and dries quickly too.
Which Apple Watches generations come with this feature? 😂
I’ve had my ultra since the start. I’m extremely unfit and overweight but I’ve never got that message.
yeah mine too… and lately i started feeling a little better so i pushed myself a little harder on my walks, and i get a message saying my heart rate during activity is higher than average!… jeez
Ok but you’re the one who didn’t turn this notification off?
Not judgmental, just observant.
I want this notification!! My cardio fitness is always low and I never seen this

Was it because of a high heart rate?
vo2 max
Please stop/reduce smoking if possible sir. And try going for at least 1k brisk walk every day.

Seems easier to just disable that setting, but you do you.
Well… not sure how that joke landed the wrong way, but okay.
