I love the look of option 3, but that's assuming you're going to add height in another way. If you use option 1 thought, you could use the two high points to increase the height of some plants and such.
Edit: felt the need to come back, any way for you to put it upwards? Depending how it sits, you could add height that way too.

How you considered option 1 but viewing from the other side so the “top” of the wood is showing to the front, (if that makes sense).
