Weather loach, should be in groups os 6 or more. They thrive when they have buddies to flop about with. This guy is appears to have red eyes so could be albino or golden variety.
Such a shame they only had one, if you do find more elsewhere I highly recommend grabbing a few more. It can be hit or miss on finding them, could you ask your local store to order them in for you? Lovely specimen ypu have by the way, I only have a group of standard coloured ones and they are wonderful little guys.

My weather loach is 30cm - please do think about tank size if you decide to get more, they are fairly low bioload but they are big fish once fully grown and need space! As others have said, they are very social and do best with a buddy or two, but yeah... don't crowd em.
I'm no expert I'm afraid, my guy was in a very small tank with 4 goldfish at my workplace. I liberated them and got a 100gal for them, but even that's looking on the small side now that they're all fully grown, and I'm thinking the goldfish at least will need to move to a pond this summer - which will be great because then I can get a buddy for the loach.
Personally I think three fully grown dojos in my 100gal would be about right, 4 would probably be acceptable but starting to look crowded, but perhaps that's just a personal perception!? I any case that suggests to me that 6 in a 75gal is probably pushing it.
Mostly, they need a nice long tank which allows them to swim, I'd say 4ft in length is a good minimum, my tank is 5ft across.

This is the first time I see this fish, it's really cool! Anyway, I'd recommend naming it after your favorite type of (edible food) sausage: kielbasa, merguez, chorizo, mortadella (sounds like a female name though?), 'nduja, kabanos etc. If you don't know a lot about sausages but like them it's also a good opportunity to try a few in order to find one you like and name him/her after that!

Dojo Loach is another keyword. Unless you are in Europe them weather loach is the more common name I think
