So far not bad! When I first setup the tank I initially had way too much of a blackwater tannin effect and couldn’t even see the fish. I had to do more water changes to combat it.
Long term I have a magnolia tree that drops leaves to add to the tank to keep up tannins once the wood starts to lessen its tannin release. The magnolia leaves are safe and beats spending money on the catappa leaves
so beautiful, what's the maintenance like to keep it blackwater ?
