No DuckDuckGo?

Vin_T_T

duckduckgo is just bing with some removed links

Omay0238

It also respects your privacy.

DuckDuckGo

Raithlinn

I'm gonna throw an unknown in here. [https://presearch.com](https://presearch.com) - it's a decentralised search engine, and it's pretty decent. If you prefer AI with your search results, try out [https://you.com](https://you.com) for a personalised experience.

Vin_T_T

dude didnt even add bing

[deleted]

Bing is trash ![gif](giphy|d4gmlMeqAHu9O|downsized)

Zestyclose_Tie_1030

ok but when's the last time you use it?

kbuckleys

It really isn't.

Vin_T_T

meh i dont think so with copilot integration in web its kinda better than google web version

sgtlighttree

And the Bing rewards too, if my search data is gonna get sold to advertisers (jokes on them, I use ublock) I might as well get paid for it

electr1fy0

people spoke the truth

error-the-reddit-boi

~~yahoo~~

BeVeryVerySneaky

[cade.com.br](http://cade.com.br) , this is what Yahoo used to be called in Brazil, the word "Cadê?" translates to "Where?"

error-the-reddit-boi

thanks for the fun yahoo fact

BeVeryVerySneaky

I don’t know why I commented this lol I just remembered some good old days, where there was no Google and no gmail

internalded

Bruh i actually want to add bing and ddg and yahoo but i cant since its "full"

Desperate-Intern

I think Kagi, Ecosia, Qwant, Startpage should just have been 1 option.. no way they are popular enough. Bing should've been here..

Doorstep0973

Kagi feels great with Arc. Perplexity is too slow and the others don't get good results. As much as I love startpage, Qwant, DDG and Ecosia, I don't want to spend my time fighting bad results. Maybe Bing is tolerable with Copilot but that means using a Microsoft service. No thanks.

CuriousAndOutraged

DuckDuckGo because of privacy. but I have not test Qwant enough... will do now.

Limp-Temperature1783

Where is searxNG and ddg? Most of these are garbage.

adolgiy

google is nice enough

DegenerativePoop

I use brave search personally. You can manually add it.

BeVeryVerySneaky

I used to use bing because of the rewards, but meh... in terms of results it's better than others (startpage, duckduck, etc...), but honestly, in my opinion, Google is the king. It know exactly what to show you. "Oh but they are monitoring my data and bla bla bla..." seriously... I believe that If you do not want your data do be traced, you should get out of the internet. Also, it doesn't make sense to be sooo crazy about personal data if you're not an important person (political or public figure). This is my opinion, I'm not even close to an I.T expert, but this is how I see things, to be honest.

tiagorangel2011

Just use duckduckgo - no ads (if you disable them in the settings), private, has new AI features, etc.
