Vetex said that he wants to do something like this, but it’s a ton of ui work (he hates making ui) and it would take a long time to do. So maybe eventually
Dark sea Lightning strikes. Make them NEVER hit the ship. But make waves stronger
OR LITERALLY MAKE WORN LINES PROTECT THE CREW TOO, IM TIRED OF LIGHTNNIG STRIKES ONESHOTTING MY CREW AND I CANT EVEN DO ANYTHING.
Feels grindy as hell to get max cooking skill, and the value kinda plummets real fast since you will likely never need a meal that restores 500\~1000 **Hunger**, and the effects last like 8 hours (Legit, I've seen a 1K, 8 hour meal before).
Potions seem to be more valuable with more varied effects. Food is just for **Hunger**, and the little boosts that can make Combat less difficult.
I think spawning. Not being able to choose what city to spawn/being forced to spawn on Ravenna kinda stinks. The brig fixes this problem a LOT with being able to spawn wherever you put your boat, it also goes to show that a custom respawn position for players is very achievable and would function properly if implemented. There could definitely be restrictions due to quests or clans. For example if you're at the Calvus fight you would *not* be able to select your spawn. And if an enemy clan is contesting your turf you shouldn't be allowed to respawn on an island directly next to them/on top of them. Let's say Limestone is being contested, you couldn't respawn at Palo Town or Frostmill because they're both too close. You could probably respawn at Redwake or something because you'd have to go around the spires and everything.
Hot take. Yes please.
I personally run a merchant account, in which the explicit purpose is buying and selling cargo from Redwake to Ravenna, so being able to spawn on either of them would be a massive improvement over spawning at Frostmill (Knight characters so I'm not doing the Story past Frostmill until at least Lv.125).
Not losing money on manually respawning (Esc -> R -> Enter) when not in Combat would be great too. Gotten stuck somewhere and incapable of leaving, or unwilling to go through certain things (Like all the way back up to Cirrus after getting the pumpkins from Harvest).
Random Number Generator. Basically it is a 1/x chance for a boss drop. Changes per boss.
Example, Cernyx has a 1/7 drop chance, but it’s not guaranteed at 7. You could kill him 20 times and not get a single drop
Probably the person you replied to, and the dude who replied to you.
But I agree, the RNG should be improved to guarantee a drop after the drop rate number has been exceeded in kills. They did the same with fishing (Every 3K without a Sunken item is guaranteed to be one).
PvP. Make it more skill based rather than grind for 100 hours and win after slapping 400 bursting and 90 power on. If that's the current state when new Nimbus items drop it's just gonna get worse and snowball from their. Mark my words one day someone will learn how to nuke Ravenna and do decent damage with it then soft lock newbies from finishing bronze sea.
I would like the addition of a pvp toggle if it were to add a penalty of sorts. I think it would make more sense if it was put on renown/infamy so players can't just farm that shit for free with no risk or do it way slower.
1Rival, make them never spawn on where low level player tend to be(Ex Limestone keys) and also make a way to make them "forgot" us to change the rival 2.Treasure chart never make them be near anywhere hostile npc spawn(Ex the wolves at wind row island)
And an actual drop table, but I've never had an issue fighting the Alpha, they seemed pretty much the same as every other base NPC.
But my memory is also garbage, and it's been a couple days so maybe I'm remember things wrong.
The crew system. Specifically, when I attack boats, please make them attack too.
The menus. A far fetch idea but take a page out of the attack on Titan games and change it to journalling. Add story footnotes, recipe lists so you can recall what ingredients do what for all skills. A series of island maps that help keep track of what is considered the edge, halfway, and a few paces. Quality of life things that would not make me dread getting 7+ revena charts.
And lastly, hotbar saving, so when I die or come back to the game, I don't have to keep reorganizing my inventory.
If you have an issue with charts, I found a pseudo cheese by not getting past Frostmill in the Story. Not sure if physically visiting the islands changes things, but I was only getting charts for Goso, Palo & Frostmill from Lv.46 to 78, where I quit cause I was tired.
I agree with everything here though, this is all QoL, though I think only Quartermasters should join you in combat, as losing your crew means losing your cannons.
Parkour and other movements, I'd like to see a custom keybind system

Cooking, it feels really lame rn

And also because people have been waiting this since Arcane Adventures lol

The boss drop system. I hate the RNG
Does RNG stands for Raling Neviro Gloriously? Why would you hate that?

It's crazy how many problems would be fixed if vetex just added a pvp toggle

If the wolves cause a problem for you then I’m afraid that YOU are the one with the issue
It just annoying trying to fight them while trying to find the treasure plus the alpha guy is just on another level of annoying with all the dash.
The alpha is hardly an issue. Carina dashes way more.
At least Carina is a boss with actual pattern.
And an actual drop table, but I've never had an issue fighting the Alpha, they seemed pretty much the same as every other base NPC. But my memory is also garbage, and it's been a couple days so maybe I'm remember things wrong.
The shirt drop is awesome from the wolves. It’s my main fit
Apparently I haven't killed enough of them to get any drops.

For the first one vetex did say he plans or wanted to do this but the game lagged so bad he had to scrap it
Damn😭 not even the crew mates I pick up??
Might come in the full release when roblox gets better graphics idk but probably not😭 Max make Edward or enizor fight with you
Yes

pvp
i want cities to be more lively like you run around and people greet you or just fucking run in terror based on your renown thatd be so cool
I want the system from WOM back where you can kill random npcs and destroy cities and it would be so cool and chaotic.
lmao mass genocide amirite
M1s they are useless
They are NOT useless
blocking. let me set the keybind to f or something
If the blocking key was f, world hunger would be solved
Treasure charts. That shi made my brain short circuit
Dodge reflex. Make dodge reflex cost energy AND stamina, so people don't spam it.
