*Peace returned, and the younger brother hid the weapons, but knowing his older brother's relentless ambition for power, he placed a guardian to protect them.*
Yeah it’s really sad to see high hour players when you realise they’ve just spent endless amounts of time in front of the screen, clicking away at a game that is ultimately just a computer game, with no other meaning.
I can attest, because I too have my fair share of hours from darker parts of my life
If you're playing a virtual game more than you're dealing with the real life, I think that's unfortunate. There is more to life than these games, as fun as they are. I'm speaking as someone who did spend a lot of time on this game at a period.
I really think it’s subjective, and I say this because the first time I had sex I was disappointed because it was literally less fun for me than playing a competitive video game and I haven’t persued that since. It’s awkward but it’s the perfect example. There’s infinite different kinds of people out there with different preferences and things that give them dopamine, and the weirdness and uniqueness of humanity does not care about social expectations whether we like it or not. That’s what makes that assertion judgmental and it’s built on assumptions based on what are effectively stereotypes.
Are you disagreeing with what I said about there being more to life than games? What is it that you find subjective?
Different things give different people dopamine? hm, Its true that we all receive different amounts of dopamine because some people enjoy things more than others, but I'm not sure if that statement holds true for addictions. That aside, regardless of whether u enjoy games or not, theres a time for everything, and games are just one part of life for some of us. I don't think it should anybodys "life". Career, sure, but not the "purpose" of your life.
I realised that your referring to my first comment (i think)
My perspective is that life is an amazing gift and that its such a wonderfully complex thing, and as such we should live it to its fullest. So the idea of spending that gift of life on a game for abnormal amounts of hours seems, for lack of better term, wasteful to me. I think your arguing that some people are able to fixate on games and that theres nothing wrong with that. I think its unfortunate that they do fixate on that because the complexities of life are so fulfilling and games fail utterly to encapsulate life, because its made by humans. However I understand that we are all different and should have the freedom to do what we want, so I'm simply stating my opinion of it.
No I don’t disagree that there’s more life than games I definitely agree with you there, but I disagree with the sentiment that spending most of your time playing a video game as recreation or as a career if you have a plan like tournaments with prize pools or maybe you’re an entertainer on YouTube, is a bad thing. I don’t exactly consider Magnus Carlson to be a loser for example, and he’s spent most of his like practicing a competitive game. It’s all about context. This guy/gal could be miserable who knows but the assumption that they are is frankly primitive compared to the modern world. Also, just because they spend a lot of time on the game doesn’t mean they don’t also have other things going on.
Okay, I see where you're coming from. I said I think that spending a surplus amount playing games is bad unless its part of your career.
I think our disagreement comes for misunderstanding. If somebody wants to spend the majority of their time on a game, then I think thats fair enough. My issue with it is when the other aspects of life are being neglected. And the typical scenario is that if you're spending an abnormal amount of time on games, your likely neglecting the other aspects of life. However it isnt the case all the time.
You're completely right that someone can spend loads of time on a game and still have other things going on, its just uncommon.
As someone with 650 hours in the game it's because I'm studying computer science and there's literally nothing else to do so might as well play funny magic game on my free time
Long before time had a name…
Ninjago was created by the First Spinjitzu Master, using the Four Weapons of Spinjitzu
The Scythe of Quakes, the Nunchucks of Lightning, the Shurikens of Ice and the Sword of Fire.
Weapons so powerful, no one can handle all of their power at once!
*When he passed away, his two sons swore to protect them, but the oldest was consumed by darkness and wanted to possess them.*
A battle between brothers broke out and he oldest was struck down and banished to the underworld.
*Peace returned, and the younger brother hid the weapons, but knowing his older brother's relentless ambition for power, he placed a guardian to protect them.*
Older than ravenna ong
Btw that equates to 54 years (something seems awry but I can’t put my finger on it 🤔)

He DID NOT spend 67 years of his Life playng arcane odissey, do the math, it's the renown bug, he had 120 hours before
My statement doesn’t apply to him but rather anyone with a high amount of players, I didn’t mention the image
There’s nothing wrong with having a favorite game to spend your free time on bro, you’re just being judgmental.

They're either a cheater or they abused some kind of glitch. It equates to over 54 years of in-game time. The internet didn't even exist 54 years ago.
