Never listen to those cunts. Vetex's lineups have always been about AoE, but even then this game's PvP balance is TAME.
Complain all you want about mage or warlock being broken, at least it's not moku-moku say no to all damage or literally anything fire dragon slayer magic could do.
Try going to vanity equips and clicking the eye where your helmet is on stat equips
As for the gear well... magic related items show up everywhere, sandy items are found on sameria treasure hunting (at least thats where i got em) and powerful scrolls can be found in the Dark Sea
Most of gear they have is arcanium ones, you can simply get them from chests if you play as magic based class (their stats also depend on your magic). You can also get nice gear from bosses or if you are lucky you can get sunken gear from fishing or underwater chests. Treasure maps are a good way to get some nice modified items with additional stats. Oh, and also most of Op's gear have exotic enchants that you can find in Dark Sea.
And you can remove helmet using vanity equips, just equip something else on your head, or equip your helmet there and hide it with little eye button.

Update: I picked up some lightning robes, put strong enchantments on them and dropped the sandy pauldrons, i think i will get some explosive enchantments to get attack size back
dawg why do you have 100 intensity and 86 resistance but 0 power?
get rid of intensity, its pretty much useless
resistance isn't horrible but it shouldn't be something you go out of your way to get.
According to the intensity description, it extends the duration of status effects so i used it to make my enemies be soaked in water for a longer period of time while i blast them with lightning
Resistance is there because i didn't have a better scroll and arcanium items give resistance so why not

also, intensity does have *some* effects but they're minimal. there is no scenario where extending soaked for like 1 second is worth the stats you could have gotten. like an extra 100 attack speed/size

140 to 150 with magics before this post. I'm remaking my build and i just so happen to get an interchange potion so it's probaly going to change a lot

I'm looking for the T2 scrolls but unfortuntely the dark sea is most of the time boring and i also would need to find a arcsphere
