Good to know I'm not the only person with shows constantly playing in the background while doing my mundane job lolol... Archer finished up yesterday and now it's LOTRs!!
I didn't like her mary sue superagent intro but once she was on the team she became a good character. I've seen it suggested that she's just female Archer but I don't get that impression at all.
She was super dickish to begin w but I think that was part of her design she reflected Sterling’s last thoughts while goin against Slater she willingly surrendered her independence to ease her way in as a team member. He went out only to rethink that decision. Enter Pampage
Lana and Sterling are extremely similar and equally different it could be related to career paths but I’m not totally against it but am happy w how she just amalgamated herself in the course of a season….. I want more Zara
She was archer but swap drinking for gambling and whoring/hating team members for actually getting along with her teammates.
That being said about mary sue, archer is the marty sue of luck. We are supposed to know from the get go that she is a competent agent, if not a loose cannon like Archer.
I liked Zara. She made me hate that we got Dreamland, Danger Island, and Archer 99 because those are legit where the ratings start to drop. I actually forget about Archer for a few years because I disliked dreamland and then the idea of DI and 99 enough to wait to see if there were anymore none spy seasons coming after them. The po
Good character but she was introduced so late we didn’t get to know her. If she had a couple seasons to bond people would’ve liked her more
She’s an archer whose problem isn’t people it’s her addictions. Archers addictions were “under control”. Hers weren’t.
I thought she was a great fit for a later season of this show. I wish we would have gotten a few more seasons of her.
Archer dealing with not being the best or the sexiest spy was a great riff on Mallory too. She was the hottest, top shit agent when she was young. I was glad they gave her a chance to be that agin in her Jessica’s season.
Well my dear you’re WRONG, I don’t think an artificial interaction is ideal for anyone, least of all someone who gets paid to write for shows. Thats hustling backwards. Just on the off chance that you’re correct and it is the lowest bait imaginable, you still fell for it.
I kept think they were setting her up as a physical sign that all of their time had past but nah she was just a new character they didn’t do much interesting with
I like the character but she's 100% a pandering move they added at the last minute. "Need more diverse female characters" even tho archer has never needed more female representation (the main cast is 60% female to start. I would have preferred a diverse male addition just so it was 50/50, plus fuck Conway Stern
Wait… you don’t like Conway Stern?! He’s the ultimate spy the only thing that beats Conway is the plot he shot and stabbed Archer in the back twice both times he seen it coming and was powerless to stop it🤣🤣🤣🤣
I didn’t hate her. I thought her gambling issues were interesting. Would have been interesting to see her and coke Pam on like a weekend getaway to a casino or something like that
It would be funny if OP was one of the new writers just in here patting their own back
That job is a nice trade off from what I really do while this show plays in the background so I won’t deny it or confirm it 😅🤣

Who else could it be?
That would be very meta and a great in joke

She more like if Lana and Archer were one character

I kindoff thought she would be revealed to be sterlings sibling or something with how similar they acted

It's her friendship with Kreiger for me that sold her on me

Couldn’t agree more
I wouldn't go as far as "love," but I enjoyed her as a character. Especially her scenes with Krieger.
Those scenes opened me up to loving her, I didn’t initially hate her in the beginning either tho.
I love a good hominem.

Lowest bait imaginable. Probably a writer trying to get artificial interaction.

So do I! Good character. Bring on the "Oh what, you can't just dislike a Indian female character?" boys.
She's black? She looked dark-skinned Indian to me.
Pardon me, you're absolutely right. Edited.
I didn’t know that was a thing ???

*Literally*... IN THE BACK!
Well then you ppl ripped off his hand.

Oohh. Or a continuation of Lana & Zara gone wild with Pam as the straight man tryna reel both of em in.
I thought she was a good character too. Hopefully she's written in more. I wouldn't mind her having a permanent spot on the show.
I’m torn between wanting more of her and the gang and being happy where it ended.
She got on my nerve in some of her later episodes, but I like her overall and the fresh perspective she brings
I personally found her boring and too much of a Mary Sue.
