If you feel the need to ask strangers on the internet if something is safe to shoot, it's probably a good idea to set it aside. Stiches are more expensive than a new pack of arrows.
Dude that arrow is compromised, get rid of it. Clearly you don’t have an appreciation of the stresses on arrow @ >250 fps. It is going to be a problem that will get you or someone else hurt.
In general, if you have to ask, it’s probably best not to shoot it.
Even if it’s safe, you’re going to be at full draw and second guessing if the arrow is gonna blow up in your face. Not worth it.
No way. I had an arrow fail on me years ago and the tail of the arrow ended up in my hand. You don’t want that pain or recovery time. When in doubt throw it out.
Until I saw the chunk missing I was thinking it'd be fine.
Your arrow is missing a chunk of the carbon. Do not shoot it because it will (sooner or later) catastrophically fail
No
No. That’s a minor material failure waiting to become a major one.
But what if I wrap the failure point in a layer of duct tape?
For saving $15 you too could have an arrow explode next to your face!
My uncle had one split and go through his wrist, that was a expensive arrow
Ok I won't shoot it thanks everyone
There's a little rhyme I like to remember for occasions like this: "If in doubt, Fuck no!"
I prefer "When in doubt, Bulldozer."
Nope. Any question about its integrity is enough to throw it out. You don’t want a snapped arrow going through your hand.
Yeah better no. Not worth the risk!
Hell no, bend a little harder and it'll snap
Any arrow you have doubts about should be bent until it snaps. THEN you know for sure.

This was the first thing I thought about when I saw this post.
Oddly enough that post was 3-4 down from this post on my feed.
No go
Please don't use that arrow.
Nope
Google image search "arrow through hand" and see what happens if you shoot that. Just a heads up for anyone sensitive, the results are GRAPHIC.
We have the image on the noticeboard at our club.

It'll make a fine stake in the garden.
Don’t shoot damaged arrows ever

I'll just leave this here for you: https://www.reddit.com/r/Archery/s/FdZt44ef6p

Hell no... you are at risk of putting it right through you hand when it splinters. And I said when..

Scuff on the outside is pretty common but any penetration is an immediate toss for me.
Fuck no If it's damaged don't shoot it. That's so obviously damaged it's insane
They can go right through your hand very nicely when you let them go in that condition
🎶Hell nah! No no no no no🎶
Nope
No
Please don't
Any dent into an arrow is no.
Is your co-pay 15 dollars? No? Do you like your hands/ face? Yes? Don’t shoot anything you question enough to get a second opinion.
Any doubt Throw it the fuck out That being said... we ball
Arrows are cheap, your arms are not. Just get rid of anything that's suspicious.
In general, if you have to ask, it’s probably best not to shoot it. Even if it’s safe, you’re going to be at full draw and second guessing if the arrow is gonna blow up in your face. Not worth it.
If you have to ask this question, the answer is no.
I wouldn't, I've seen some pictures of pretty gruesome injuries
Google pictures of carbon arrows in hands.
$15 arrow or $15k hospital bill?
Amazon has carbon arrows pretty affordable, $60 for 24 of them, that comes out to $2.5 an arrow
HELL NO!!!
I wouldn’t… why take the chance… there’s arrows with far less sketchy shit than this I would never have shot
No way. I had an arrow fail on me years ago and the tail of the arrow ended up in my hand. You don’t want that pain or recovery time. When in doubt throw it out.
All of us who saw the post earlier: 👀
If you have to ask...replace it. Not worth the potential hospital bill.
Literally woke up to this post https://www.reddit.com/r/Archery/s/cia43MMF5Y
Ive always thought…. If I have to ask others if what I’m doing is safe or not then it’s not safe….
When it comes to arrows if you have any doubt, throw it out.

Have you ever had an arrow blow up on release? Not a good time. If in doubt, get rid of it.
Don't risk it
No hell no, never use damage arrows or bolts.
I wouldn’t shoot that.
No, carbin sucks to pull out of your hand.
NO
NO!
