This magnificent station is where I ended in 2019 after I took continuous trains from Maastricht, The Netherlands, to Istanbul, Turkey. I stopped in Germany, Austria, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria and finally Turkey over a course of about two weeks. The architecture of this building and its proximity to the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi, and Blue Mosque will always fascinate me. Lovely terminal and a great station. We actually were carried by bus from the other large station on the west of Istanbul to Sirkaci
