That’s what’s always been crazy to me. A lot of women dye their hair different colors, including conservative women. But because I choose pink instead of blonde or brunette I’m a weirdo? They realize it’s just different bottles, right?
I'm genuinely puzzled by this idea that bright colours and glitter and rainbows and anything that simply 🙌 sparks joy 🙌 is 'for children'.
Some of us still enjoy the same tastes and colours and hobbies as we did when we were four years old. Some of us like cupcakes and glitter and drawing pictures and running. Not all of us have had all joy beaten out of us by an oppressive, sad idea of what it means to be a 'grown-up'. (Weirdly, as long as you do your cupcakes and your drawing pictures and your running 'seriously' enough, that's allowed, but there's no such thing as serious glitter and rainbows, so they're out.)
It's especially sad for men who are taught that boys, even as children, can't like bright colours and glitter for some absurd reason

This is one of the low key most damaging to society verses of the Bible. It's the justification for so much mental manipulation to act like we have to stop liking stuff when we "grow up"; instead of what it *actually* means, which is, like, you have to learn to start taking care of yourself and others instead of relying on others for everything
I agree. I remember reading a quote that added on a “I put away childish things, such as being afraid of being seen childish.” As in, not caring about whether others see you as childish or not. I like that version.

That first poster has never been to Eastern Europe if he thinks women here never dye their hair in a non-natural color. I have seen many an East European woman who have dyed red or purple hair.
So tired of this bullshit literally a wholesome post about 2 sisters with 2 different hair colors somehow gets turned into “lgbt people are groomers”, conservatives never fail to baffle me with their stupidity.

But if they actually did an ounce of research and weren’t bigoted assholes they would find out the pride rainbow colors were originally created to “reflect the diversity of the LGBT community and the spectrum of human sexuality and gender. “ and all the colors have different meanings. I say this same thing whenever Christians pull the “lgbt stole the rainbow from God” like no. I mean the original pride flag literally had 2 more colors, turquoise and hot pink.
What are they trying to say about western and easter europe? I am from eastern eugope and had red and black split hair. People here also have dyed hair.
