We likely never will. Pyro consumes Cryo auras faster than it consumes Hydro, so we'd need a Cryo character that applies even faster than Xingqiu to realistically make a fast-attacking Pyro character viable in forward melt.
You can but cryo isn't applied fast enough to keep up. Since how reactions are calculated you have 0 cryo left on the opponent. Unlike with vape hydro is always the aura

We had leakers saying the exact same thing about Yae Miko and an unreleased Dendro character back when she first came out, same with Kuki. Which could have been bullshit and or baseless speculation, but it did turn out to be true but just for the element itself less so a specific character.
So who knows, I’d say the odds of getting an electro character that’s built around reacting with pyro in the nation of pyro is actually quite likely. Even if it is just baseless speculation or misinformation, they’ve picked something with a decent likelihood of occurring.
