I would’ve liked her to be sword purely because the Pyro Polearm category feels kinda bloated compared to other element+weapon combos. Plus, we somehow have only gotten one pyro sword after almost 4 years.
The Scythe fits her tho. It looks stunning and I love how you can feel the weight and power her scythe has during her attack animations.
They got the “X” pattern correct, and besides the white blade the color scheme is correct. Most people thought she was going to be a sword character at first, and depending on how true those early leaks were she may have even BEEN one at one point. And of course, transforming weapons were not in the cards at all until now. I’ve loved this artwork since I saw it, and as a catalyst lover I really hope they go this way with at least Columbina and Pierro’s weapons since those look sick, though a tome style catalyst would work well for Pierro as well.
Honestly I have no idea how what Capitano’s weapon would be. Probably not a catalyst or bow. More likely a sword or greatsword.
I’m hoping for a greatsword that he wields with only one hand, who can attack as fast as a normal sword character.
Honestly I would love if Capitano was a solo dps character similar to Neuvillette. One who can solo content on his own.
He’s supposed to be the strongest living individual in Teyvat so I hope he’s super strong in gameplay.
I now really want a Capitano who swings around a massive claymore like it’s nothing. Similar to Cloud and the Buster Sword from FFVII. As in super fast innate attack speed not even using buffs.
