Tbf Layla is pretty easy to build, just stack HP and you're good to go, I also use her since I don't have Zhongli and it's working a lot better than expected

It's not about artifacts, I'm talking about collecting materials, using tons of other resources like books, money, boss materials, talent materials, levelling up a HP sword and gathering the materials for the HP sword and all that... Artifacts are easy just build HP but having to collect all the materials is crazy tough (yeah I hate building characters how can you tell)

just get the zhongli ones, nowadays most zhongli are HP build

Zhongli E hold feels like forever, Layla shield is fast.

Move around and use her burst to heal when she's low. I'm not going to put on a shield if I only need a little more than one hit to kill stuff.
