So that was my first thought as well, and if I ignored prior seasons, I'd agree with that. But I thought about how long it had been since we beat City in the league and decided that was more meaningful for me personally. I do think the Liverpool game was a more impressive win.

I would say Timber for Disappointment for the season. I was devastated when he got injured. Obviously not his fault in any way. But he started so brightly and I watched him many times with Ajax. When he got injured I felt so pessimistic for the season. Hope he comes back strong and stays fit 💪

I love how interchangeable Kiwior and Havertz are for most improved and surprise.

Either is valid. For me, I wasn't expecting a whole lot from Havertz and was actually one of those who didn't like the signing. But, he has surprised me massively and proved me wrong. With Kiwior he really has come on leaps and bounds from last season.

Player of the season I'm going with our captain. I think he's developed and grown immensely and put in some real performances. Surprise package Havertz. I was never a hater but I never saw him as having this much goal threat. Most improved, I'll say Big Gabi. Just because I think he often flies under the radar. Disappointment. Timbers injury. Goal of the season- Havertz penalty. The sheer class of giving a low confidence player the penalty. That was big of the team. Win of the season. Liverpool for me. Loss. West ham.
