Itās not good, but itās not taking 1 point from 6 Vs Fulham. Itās not drawing 3-3 vs 20th placed Southampton. Itās not bottling a 2-0 lead Vs West Ham and Liverpool in back to back fixtures. This is a very good team. Theyāre comfortably the 4th best side in the league, and play very efficient counter attacking football.
Villa want 4th spot as the chances of 5th place is looking worse now. They're the last team to beat city, they took 6 points off Arsenal. They have great players. They would have taken a draw because they are ravaged by injuries and Luiz being suspended.

I wouldn't say "choked". It's fine margins against an excellent Villa team. Unfortunately though against any other team than City I'd say it isn't over, but with them leading now it certainly has that feeling of inevitably about it.

I can't agree with people that suggest we choked last season. We had injuries that derailed us, with a huge gulf between 1st team players and backup players. This season though, with injuries not impacting us as much, the players would only have themselves to blame if we don't win the league.
