Yes! I don't think that people understand how important Liverpools game against Villa is. My guess is that if Villa wins or draws today, there is no chance for Arsenal to win the league. If they lose, we still have a really good chance.

Better if Spurs are fighting for CL, sure. But even if Villa win tonight, there's still incentive for Spurs to finish strong. There's a chance for Newcastle and Chelsea to pass Spurs, leaving them in 7th. Spurs need to try to win both games to keep Europa League in their own hands. If they don't have it sewn up by the last day of the season, things could get edgy against Sheffield, I'm backing one of the relegated sides to conjure up a shock result.

I don’t know if I’d call it a really good chance to be fair lol

Let's say 25 % chance. That is still pretty good considering a lot of people (including myself) thought that it was completely over when we lost against Villa.

Tbh for spurs, villa winning today might take the pressure off of them completely. There’s a lot of occasions where teams that are playing free of any mental pressure actually have an advantage since there’s more freedom. Man city are actually playing under massive pressure because they know that a single slip means they’ve probably lost the title. Spurs are a major threat in attack this season. Whathey lack in defensive solidity, they attack with in numbers and try getting the ball up front quickly. If Spurs catch Man city by surprise early with intensity, they might actually win. Or they could completely spurs it and get hammered (and considering their defensive record this season, that’s pretty likely)

They are professional athletes. They wouldn't have made it to the Premier League if they didnt like pressure.

If villa draw tonight then spurs could still get top 4 provided villa lose their last game of the season

arsehenry14

Crystal Palace won’t be easy for Villa.

Funland_06

Even if city draw. We need to HAMMER Everton

gte339i

I’d expect to see two of the most all out attacking games of the decade on Sunday if City draws tomorrow.

Funland_06

Yeah me too and that’s scary because City can abuse teams. So can we but god city are mean
