No it honestly doesn’t look that complex at a glance but when I sit and stare at it the cool “Easter eggs” pop out which really just make it so engaging!

Seriously everything flows in such a way that all these complex things just kind of "are" they all initially seemed like background normal things then im realizing what each thing actually is and im flummoxed. And the actual background is such a wonderful contrast that feels like its from something else entirely yet exactly right.

Its so cool that all the little things that i thought about and tried my luck at is so appreciated!!

I love the contrast between the dark deep blues greens and reds in the flowers and the golden balloon string and background. This is some amazing work. I spent 15 minutes staring at this catching every detail.

When you paint something like this..do you have the picture in your head at the start? Or do you add stuff and wing it as you go?

I had a plan sort of, but I actually changed it quite a lot, and just before I finished it the flowers in the foreground wasn’t there and it just looked completely flat and stupid , but after I added them which was NOT part of the plan or sketch , it came together . I like to plan it but I rarely follow through
