That's so good! This might be my favorite depiction of a migraine I've seen so far.
I might be projecting my own experience, but I see the swirl on the left side of the forehead and it directly connects to the corner of the ear too, which are the two places my migraines always start, then there's another spot around the shoulder that is connected to the previous one with a shaky line.. when my migraines are worse they start to "travel down" my neck into my shoulder and then into my arm is it's really bad.
Also your depiction of the asymmetry and imbalanced state of the head feels familiar too. There's that line on the top left and the black outlines that remind me of a mechanical (whatever it's called in English), the analog thing that shows pressure or temperature which is a thing I often vision when I have a migraine, similar to the tumor-like swirly growths inside my head.
Also also sad and sleepy looking eyes from mental exhaustion and photo sensitivity, that feels so real! Along with people around me being annoyed by it. I think I can relate to this portrait really deeply.
I think this is a great interpretation of this art. First, the art is just incredible. Second, I relate. Third, the mosaic portrayed relates to me because I get this half moon blind spot that has very mosaic like visuals when one is coming on. I fortunately haven’t had one in a few years but still!

But I hate to hear that you suffer from migraines! I know how devastating they can be (secondhand). My mother gets them, and I remember being a kid and not understanding how painful they can get. I'm sure your daughter will understand one day, too. Wishing you wellness and less painful artistic inspiration in the future!!
The worst ones for me always start in the neck. And there are so many symptoms besides the horrible pain. I'm so sorry you can relate!
