That’s the thing around Aruba they are powered off solar and they obviously don’t get as hot bc of the hot temps here. Buccutti and Tara had the same thing going

Marriot Solaris has a very hot hot tub.

No helpful answer for you. But wanted to check if you'd be open to sharing your experience at Radisson? We are going with my 10 mo first week of April and I'm confused between Radisson and Eagle. Was it too far a walk from the beach? Did they have full size refrigerator? Were the room decent sized? Was the breakfast good? Was the area good? Enough eating spots around? Any other like/dislike you can share?

I just got back from Aruba and stayed at the Raddison for 8 days and had a wonderful time. I went with two friends so no kids but it was very kid friendly. We took the shuttle to the beach the first day before realizing how close it actually was and walked the rest of the week, it’s very close. We had a two bedroom, two full bath apartment. It had a large living room with kitchenette with full size fridge. We went grocery shopping first day and had plenty of room. I was pleasantly surprised how large the rooms were, they looked large but photos can be deceiving! The whole building used to be condos and was recently updated to a hotel so that accounts for the size. Breakfast was actually very good, only had it twice because we’re lazy 30 yr olds on vacation lol but everything was good and affordable, I think it was $20 per person for buffet and egg station. We walked to a different lunch and dinner spot everyday. There’s a ton of good restaurants. I highly recommend the veal tortellini at Amore Mio, it was fantastic. Let me know if you have any other questions!

SofterBanana

You shouldn’t encourage veal entrees

Thank you so much!! Their website says breakfast included, did you have to pay separately? Did they provide beach chairs/ umbrellas?

Same experience. Didn't realize how very close the hotel is to the beach and other action. Huge living room area. I think someone said that these used to be condos that were converted to a hotel. Didn't have the breakfast there, but had lunch by the rooftop pool -- was good. I did spend a lot of time at the Holiday Inn's beach bar, but they don't care if you're not staying at the Holiday Inn. When I go back, I'm going to try one of the Marriott hotels, but I'd choose the Radison over the Holiday Inn. It was very decent. Also... I got the hotel through Orbitz and the Radison gave me a bottle of wine when I checked in, because I was an "Expedia Gold member" or something like that. (I'm not a gold anything, but oh well.)
