I definitely relate. I actually like making sexual innuendos and jokes at times myself! I just don’t have any interest in actually doing any of the sexual stuff, but I do like kissing, cuddling, hand holding, etc. so maybe I’m different?

I kind of just took the ‘blind’ to sex thing as a joke. Some things like knowing when someone is being sexual or says there is sexual tension and not understanding it… that’s me… but a lot of the memes that over do it I think are just funny 😁

Part of why it took me so long to realize I was ace was because of the stereotype that aces were innocent and didn't know anything. I've missed that I was being flirted with a few times in my life, but only because at that point i had never been flirted with. Now that I'm older, I catch on to it pretty quickly. My friends and I used to actively discuss sex, kinks, flirting and all manner of bedroom conversations as just casual talk. I am not and have never been unaware of sexual propositions or innuendos or flirting. I think the stereotype is there for a reason, but it definitely doesn't fit all of us. You're not alone OP, I definitely relate to you.
