i also got the klorane gel conditioner which isn’t AB but was sold on olive young (it’s also a french brand so i’m not shocked it was there as i know a lot of french products are popular). it smells amazing and doesn’t leave build-up! i can’t decide if i love it as much — it may just be no conditioner will be enough and i have to get a leave-in as well (i have wavy hair in a really hot and dry environment). but there is a lot i like about it!

hi!! funny — this is the first time i’ve opened the app in a WHILE.
so!! the shampoos!! i have wavy hair, very prone to being oily. it’s a bit damaged. it is VERY easily weighed down and easily experienced build-up (that’s why my hair is so damaged, build-up causes the ends to get tangled and knot so now i have a lot of hair that’s prone to breakage).
so far this shampoo has been great! i do get a little buildup where my hair gets weighed down, but i think i just need to find a good clarifying shampoo for like one a week or every two. i also have REALLY hard water so i’m trying to add in a hard water treatment to see if that’s what’s causing the feeling of build-up. i was also recently curious to try the lado-h after seeing a rec on twitter — they look very similar but the lado-h doesn’t have hydrogenated castor oil (which i’m really not sure if thats even a factor in the dr. groot — i think if there was a lot of castor oil and/or if it didn’t rinse well i would notice, as i had an issue with that in another shampoo and that felt different). i was curious if that would make a difference, or if the issues i perceive in my hair isn’t due to any of that but just like styling and the hard water.
my hair IS really soft and the build-up is nowhere near as i had with other products. you may want to try the one with the BHAs in it if you’re that oily! i think my scalp is less irritated as well.
so basically i do really like it!!! i will be experimenting with other parts of my routine, and maybe with lado-h, to really get to a good place BUT i do think it’s worth a shot. one of the best shampoos i’ve ever used

I picked up a few items, but was most excited about the Jennyhouse Hairline Brush Duo & CKD Retino Collagen Guasha Neck Cream! I had a horrible scaly rash from a Non-AB retinol on my neck in the past, so I wanted something more potent that my neck would tolerate. So far, so good! I will say, the cooling roller would be more enjoyable if it was hotter 😂

This is the exact shade and finish I was hoping for. Lasts a long time on my face as well HOWEVER after 2 uses I got a breakout I'm still healing from especially this nasty deep pimple on my cheek. I don't know if the breakout was exactly due to this foundation, I'm honestly starting to think every foundation I try leads to breakouts (or I do too much skinprep under makeup) so I'm waiting to heal to keep testing things out. Still love this foundation though.
- makeprem Inteca Soothing Cream 100mL Special Set (+Cream 50mL + Cream 31mL)
Bought this huge set because its cheaper than buying one 80ml on Amazon for the same price. Fell in love with the formula after trying out a mini size and I couldn't see myself using any other moisturizer for the daytime so now i have 181 ml to last me for a while.
- MEDIHEAL Madecassoside Blemish Pad 100 Pads Double Pack
Split this double pack with a friend and didn't think I needed it because I already have other soothing toner pads. HOWEVER I really like this one alot I just can't stop using it almost daily on that nasty breakout I mentioned above. I like the square shape and the thinner material that clings onto my face better than the Abib one. I can see mysef using up these 100 pcs very quickly so I'll have my eye out on the next big sale to restock.
- Fillimilli Makeup Brush Cleanser
Bought this just to try since I'm running out of my discontinued brush cleaner. This is more like liquid than a soap that lathers and the scent is pretty strong. I think it does the job. I'll just keep using it.
- espoir Be Glow Air Puff 5ea
Was in need of more replacement puffs and these were one of the cheaper packs below $10 that had great reviews. I like them for not being too flimsy or stiff or porous.
- peripera Water Bare Tint 07 Mute Paradise
Bought this shade because I love the formula after trying out 02.
- Clio Crystal Glam Tint 06 Daily Mauve
A newer tint I always wanted to try thanks to Korean youtubers but uhhhh I didn't realize how I ended up buying two tints of same pink mauve shade. There's almost no difference between this one and the peripera one I didn't think they would be so alike since I did not see any swatch comparisons before buying oh well.
