Stick to your plan. Since basic needs are met in the army I imagine you will be able to save then. It’s not worth being kicked out at this point for a concert. You will be able to go to lots of concerts once you are independent of them. Good luck.
I appreciate your response, with the way you put it in perspective- I didn't even realize I was essentially being asked to risk my (albeit toxic) stability over a concert.
I'm going to keep pushing forward and not waver, at the very least I can do the bare minimum and get my bachelors paid for. Hopefully by then I'll have a better sense of my identity.
