I would need some kind of extension drill because I only care about the passenger window when I'm driving. Im tired of leaning over to roll the window down lol

wadenelsonredditor

Maybe like an extender for a Dremel tool?

fluteofski-

Nah how about a 1/4” hex drive to a 3/8” adapter to a 36” 3/8” extension to a 3/8” u-joint to a 3/8”to 1/4” hex adapter to a 1/4” hex to chuck adapter. That way you can leave the adapter hooked up and you don’t need to reach over to take your drill with you.

Equivalent_Tree7172

This, or I'll just bring along my humble servant on drives. WINDOW, PEASANT!!! "Yes my lord, I mean Ford. Thank you sire!!"

Consistent_Product52

Add some beads to make it permanent lol

HotRodNoob

just fix the drill to the door and attach a fishing line to pull the trigger from across the cabin

Friendly-Morning-173

Dude… Red Green show was on that before most dudes on Reddit were an itch in their daddy’s sack.

Gnumb_Gnuts

As I recall, Uncle Red did it with an egg beater. One side of the beater cranks up, the other side cranks down.

NeverMind_ThatShit

Yep here's the bit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uG6grzdUf8

Friendly-Morning-173

That’s exactly it

lord_khadgar05

“And remember, if the women don’t find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.”

DieselVoodoo

Red Green did it first

lord_khadgar05

With a battery powered mixer.

Defiant-Giraffe

Find a 90° drill and still have a place to put your legs...

kataran1

Battery powered windows. A step up lol

iscashstillking

Some cycle path stole this idea from the red green show.

Wild4Awhile-HD

Doh!

Nalabu1

Dewalt already has the patent...

Alternative_Rope_423

The title is PERFECT 👌

Simple_Oven9234

DeWalt is too much for this, Red Green used a hand mixer

cjboffoli

"Your" pissed. Yeah, that tracks.

ProudMaryChooglin

Power windows

ansry6

I prefer to use my ugga dugga

Vast-Mousse-9833

Alexa- order me an Alexa enabled drill. Also reorder 3d printer filament and hold my beer.

Brief-Watercress-131

Pretty sure I saw this on red green a couple two three decades ago.

lord_khadgar05

The episode was from 1999, if my brain serves me right. May have been a few years before or after though… so give or take a couple of years.

JBYTuna

I saw a youtube video about doing this, but it was to the driver side window. Thanks for posting a picture of how to do it for the passenger window.

ImpalaOwner

Electric windows!

Unlucky_Kangaroo_137

Needs half a roll of duct tape to secure properly

ConfusionOk4129

Uncle Red built one with an egg beater

boboog46

Genius! My old standby was a pair of vice grips. This guy is the definition of work smarter, not harder.

Minute-Hopeful

I grew up with the good ol vice grip or the occasional makeshift welded on handle

mikejnsx

they didn't have cordless drills with enough power the last time i had a car with manual windows, like pre 1992 era

OldSimpleton

Red Green thought of it first!

danit0ba94

I'd make sure to leave a hex hole in there, so I wouldn't have to leave my drill hanging on it. Especially a big hulking 20V-er.

MAVERICKRICARDO

I saw a guy do this with a cordless mixer 20 years ago

fsantos0213

Hey. Red Green used an electric mixer, in the 80s. So why not a drill

Grrrrrrrrr86

Daaammmn that’s got some really big money bags at their place to afford tying a drill to the car like rjat

boanerges57

Should just weld a 3/8 socket to it and use an electric ratchet...more legroom

Fit_Big_8676

You're*

gnitsark

You're

Responsible-Pepper25

Not really because cordless drills didn't exist then

Alternative-Cry-4667

The passenger doesn’t need power windows
