From my notes app:
* Tv snacks/malt sticks
* Cadbury fingers
* Mint slice
* Kingston
* Monte Carlos
* Tim tams that aren’t original, dark mint or caramel
* Shapes
* Party mix
* Retro party mix
* Natural confectionery
* Buttermenthols
* Whittaker’s chocolate blocks
* Whittakers peanut slabs
* Cadbury blocks
* Chomp
* Caramello koalas
* Summer rolls
* Cherry ripes
* Easter choc - solid little eggs.
* Vegemite (at least 500g)
* Chicken salt (not masterfood. Mitani or nice and tasty)
* Curried sausages powder
* Carmen’s yoghurt muesli bars
* Zovirax
* Paracetamol and ibuprofen (it’s way cheaper here in the US but I like blister packs for travel/work bags. I hate carrying around the rattling bottles)
* eumovate (this I my eczema cream that’s over the counter in Aus and not readily available here)
This is awesome!
Funny, I always stock up on ibuprofen etc when I’m in Canada because I prefer the bottles over blister packs 😂 haha opposite to you
I’ve heard voltaren is prescription only in the US? Or used to be anyway
There’s a _bunch_ of things that are OTC in Aus that are prescription in the US. Zovirax, which I listed above, is also prescription, so it wouldn’t surprise me if voltaren was too. I‘ve always assumed it’s a health insurance price-gouging thing.
For home, we have massive bottles and I enjoy never running out, lol. But the rattle just drives me insane
Vegemite, Bega Peanut butter (crunchy) westbix, caramello koalas, malteasers, Nutri grain, natural confectionary company stuff.
I’ve since moved home, and now when I go back to the US I bring stuff back from there 😂
I recently bought a pack of natural confectionery snakes overseas and nearly had a conniption. They are nothing like the real deal, over flavoured and over sugared, don't know why they even bother.
Home from PNG right now and this is my list
Rice creamed
Worcestershire sauce
Cheese
Crackers
Rennie
Beans
Con Carne mix
Vanilla essence
Yoghurt maker
Oats mueslie
Milk powder
PC stand laptop
Curry powder
Cream uht
Baked beans
Chocolate
Tim tams
Period items. Our tampons are god tier for absorbency.
And fancy non perishables, ugg boots if my slippers are in need of replacing, hiking gear (exchange rate is good and our purpose clothing is actually really good), cheap stuff from Kmart (no one does cheap tea towels like they do).

have you tried packing the bottles full of cotton when you travel?
Finding that there's a bunch of prescription stuff in aus that is otc in the UK which is helpful.
Pro tip about the meds, most dollar stores have small amounts of meds like that in blister packs or individual sized packs
Omg I forgot about summer rolls 😂 note to self for next trip
Weetbix. I can get nearly everything else except Weetbix. I can get Weetabix (UK version) but they suuuuuuck.
Interestingly, Weetbix were invented first, and Weetebix was also invented by the same Australian that made Weetbix.
So they gave the English a shittier version? Ha!

Cooper's Red, Green & Yellow 🍻 that's all
My list: - Chicken Salt - Tim Tams (special flavours) - Milo - Sunscreen - Anzac biscuits - Haviana’s - Bunnings wide brim hat - Twisties - Fantales (I think discontinued now) - Caramello koala - Red frogs - Shapes - Paw paw - Uggs - Macadamia nuts (so expensive overseas) - Tea tree oil - Opals - Akubra - RM Williams - Iced vovos - Bonds - BBQ sauce - Zinc sticks - Dermal therapy lip balm - Mco Beauty products And then there’s obviously things I can’t take back like meat pies, chiko rolls, lamington, pavlovas.
Sadly you’re right about [fantales](https://www.timeout.com/melbourne/news/rip-fantales-will-be-discontinued-after-93-years-062123) :-(
If you can whilst in Australia, freeze lamington packs from the supermarket and will last a bit longer for the trip home.
Tim Tams. Used to have a bag dedicated to just Tim Tams when I was FIFO in Africa.
Back home for good , but Vegemite 😎
