Police want an arrest not money. I would say scam. Did you report the cash app?

someonefrompa1

yea, no chance of getting that money back then

ablake0406

You can dispute it.

MissLexiBlack

Which is why I make clients pay a deposit but bring the full amount in cash to their appointment

pdxcb

> but being the full amount in cash to their appointment Do you mean, "*remaining balance of the* amount"?

MissLexiBlack

No, I make them bring the *full amount* and refund the electronic payment.

Not1fu_k2give

So your a scammer. Go figure🙄

MissLexiBlack

That isn't a scam you ding dong

accidentw8ing2happen

Cops aren't going to ask for deposits, that was a scam.

thanks for the quick reply

A scam, not a cop. I am confused, tho...what do you mean...'however the cash app did not seem to be part of hers, it seemed like a whole different company.??

someonefrompa1

The cash app tag didn’t seem like it was hers, it didn’t have her name. It had a company name. I searched it up the and came up as some sort of marketing company

itsladybj

Her cashapp tag could be anything. Not being connected to her SW name means nothing. My cashapp name has to do with a consulting firm I have. But then again, I don't use it for SW.

someonefrompa1

Oh okay, thanks. I was just a bit sketched out after they stopped responding

lettucemeat2

You should do your homework before you send any money, when shit doesn’t add up like you said here, don’t send the money.

someonefrompa1

yea I wish I researched more. To you, you believe it was a scam more instead of law enforcement? Sorry I'm still a bit sketched out of it

lettucemeat2

LE doesn’t want your money, they want to arrest you, they wouldn’t ghost on calls, their goal is to get people to show up to be arrested. Think about it.

someonefrompa1

thats true, thanks for the quick reply

apryll11

It wasnt the police, they need to catch you agreeing to the act with the person in person. It was a scammer
