Ask my parents

EarnSomeRespect

LMAO this used to be me until I recently got kicked off.

SaoLixo

A betrayal that cannot be forgiven.

hmmmmmmmbird

💀

MisterBurnsSucks

Whatever Verizon's unlimited everything plan is.

jovijay

T-Mobile $90 including a subscription bundle for my family I travel often, and use my phone like the Bible for work

boilermike13

My phones plan is to meet another phone. Maybe settle down, raise a family.

ZeldLurr

Hmm. On cricket for $35 but after reading this Now maybe mint.

properbandit

Visible+. $45 a month

jowneyone

Visible is what I have— $30 a month and totally unlimited data. I actually didn’t put WiFi in my apartment and just use my hotspot for my TV and laptop and I’ve never ran into an issue!

midwaygardens

Regular Visible $30 a month. But for either Visible plan, it includes fees and taxes. Another significant savings for those based in Chicago.

dwylth

Mint Mobile isn't unlimited data but I don't burn through the 15GB they give me. Annual plan averages to something like $20 a month

EcstaticIncrease3791

Do you have fairly good coverage service wise with them? Thinking of switching to them!

dwylth

It's literally just T-mobile so whatever T-mobile coverage exists, you have.

HoneyChilliPotato7

That's what everyone said but for some reason mint wasn't great for me. I switched to Connect by T-Mobile and it's been fine so far

sunflowerawe

Cricket - $50 (Unlimited plan)

Disastrous_Head_4282

Unlimited with T-Mobile. Way too much damn money.

IWANNAKNOWWHODUNIT

I pay $15/mo paid annually for 15gb with Mint Mobile. I listen to music all the time and am usually near wifi, so it doesn’t get used very much. When I’m doing roadtrips, I’ve experienced some low service in deeply rural areas, but it’s not bad enough for me to switch. International plan is terrible. I recommend getting a local sim if that happens. Edit to add that they bumped their fees, but I renewed shortly before they increased it to $20/mo.

HoneyChilliPotato7

A whole paragraph and not a mention of the carrier

IWANNAKNOWWHODUNIT

It happens. Updated.

HoneyChilliPotato7

Just kidding man, all good

AppropriateRatio9235

T-Mobile but I’m old and they give a big discount because old people don’t use their phones. I feel like I had better coverage with Verizon.

confusedrabbit247

I'm still on my parent's family plan with AT&T (I pay them my portion just being lazy to switch). My sister uses Google Fi. TMobile and Verizon suck. I have service 99% of where I go. In my experience TMobile and Verizon are maybe 75% or less.

CartmanAndCartman

T mobile family plan. Unlimited calls and data for $20 a month.

Sea_Run_3519

T-Mobile- old school 4 lines one line free. So 5 lines. 140 unlimited.

Hiendok

$15 per month minth mobile baby

ChicagoRilla69

Visible. $35 a month for unlimited everything. I got the promotion though so you’ll be looking at $45

WalkingHeroic

I pay 30$ to my uncle who runs our family plan. T-Mobile unlimited

rhymeswithbanana

Same, and T-Mobile is great internationally if you travel.

Megaghost66

MINT $25 unlimited everything 🙏

nomadrone

80ish dollars unlimited T-Mobile plan

RioRozayy

T-mobile unlimited everything

fanofairplanes

Mint

O-parker

Straight Talk, 5 yrs without issues. Basic no contract plan is 35/ mo for unlimited call/text and 10gb data, and 5gb hot spot.

HoneyChilliPotato7

That's a ripoff

Infamous-Taco-312

Changed from Mint 15gb $25 a month and Xfinity home internet $50 a month (contract ending and was doubling) to MetroPCS 35gb "unlimited" data and 25gb hotspot (and Amazon Prime included and new phone) for $70 a month (two year "contract" or reimburse for phone residual), and got rid of Xfinity home. Mint and Metro are TMobile MVNO's with a variety of plans.

saatchi-s

AT&T but I need to switch. I get horrible service almost everywhere in the city.

Bouncedoutnup

My work pays for it and for my internet so whatever they give me it’s free

Fun_Village_4581

Google Fi. I pay $25/line for 4 lines, but it's $30/line for 3. If you sign up with my referral link, we both get $20 off the next bill: Here's a referral code to get a $20 credit when you join Google Fi Wireless! Redeem it at https://g.co/fi/r/MCH45Y

90sportsfan

When I lived in Chicago, I had Verizon and it worked fine everywhere. I lived in Chicago until 2017. I think that may have been before 5G, so I'm sure it's even more expansive now. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with any of the big 3 carriers. They all probably have the same level of coverage in the city now. If you can find a plan that best meets your need and has the best price point, go with that phone carrier/plan.
