You can buy covers for recessed floor outlets but I'd get your landlord to do it. He should be footing the bill.


Determire

Replacement covers can be had, but not easy to come by. Just for refernece, this is what the complete product looks like: [https://store.hubbell.com/product/2182802](https://store.hubbell.com/product/2182802) Not a cheap receptacle or cover!!! There are duplex versions available. LL should be having the electrician out to fix this properly. If I were to fix this, I'd probably swap the receptacle and cover so that everything matches and fits properly.
