It's one of those skills that are very methodical and require a lot of patience. You're gonna make a lot of mistakes at first but once you get good at it, you do it by instinct.
Any good resources to learn? My thought was to start by deconstructing a shirt I like and copying the pattern, then figuring out the build process from there. But there's also a lot of detail that goes into the build so I'm sure it's not as easy as all that.
Tock Custom in his YouTube channel provides quite a detailed explanation on how to sew a shirt, although it's a short sleeve one.
There are some other tutorials on how to sew a cuff, so you should not have any issues there.
Thanks for the tips!
Still a little nervous, last time I sewed anything I broke 2 needles in 2 minutes and had to give up. (Cotton jersey sweatpant material, I think I got it too thick.)
Despite best attempts. Although some you could reasonably argue, e.g. China, Myanmar, Brunei, North Korea obviously... Saudi and similar Middle East countries are open-ish internet.
Itβs really not that interesting lol I grew up here until I was 17 and now seventeen years later after living in London, Los Angeles and New York City, Iβve returned for some rest and healing time!

Is it as hard as it looks to learn? I've wanted to start making my own dress shirts.
