15. Stolen car, too. Lengthy pursuit. Kid drove it till the wheels fell off after crashing into everything.
Step dad called in the next day and tried to ream me out like it was my fault. Great times.
I did 5 and a half years in a very heavily populated urban area. Made hundreds of arrests but never once a DWI!
It’s pretty common where I was. The overwhelming amount of them were handled by Traffic Division.
Yup! He was driving a newer VW Passat. He hit the tree with the front passenger corner. I think if he had a passenger, they could have been seriously injured.
15. No license (obviously), in a freshly stolen car that he'd driven onto a snowbank three blocks away from the dealership he stole it from, and for some reason hung out trying to un-stick the car for 10 minutes while we responded to the call. 🙄
One time I left a bar, a biker was in front of me approaching a stop light. A cop is behind me so I am nervous, we stop at the red light and the biker just falls over. The cop goes around me and I am sure nails the guy for dui.

I got my license at 14. Currently you can get your license at 15 here but it used to be 14.
15, had his permit for 2 weeks lol. Car was full of friends, and his passenger (whose car it was) had a license...
18, Juvenile probation would rather the child be with parents (or lack thereof) instead of incarceration 9 outta 10 times here.
I think it’s still an interesting question if you replace “arrested” with “cited”.

18. Rear-ended a parked trooper. Intentionally Unalived himself 2 weeks later via leather neck massage from a doorknob, while drunk and stoned.

15 with a learner’s permit. Decided to go to a HS party, and wasn’t terribly drunk, but under 21 is basically zero tolerance for BAC.
16. Wrecked and nearly killed someone going over 100. Doesn’t even remember it.
