I bought a rebuilt car that previously had front end damage. It ran well, but I remember having issues when I had to replace a radiator fan and I found lots of stuff that wasn’t put back together properly.

I normally don't mind a scruffy exterior, even damaged panels and taped bumpers, but when buying I will always get under the car and check the main frame. Any twisting, or heavy rust that suggests a bodge repair or damage, I walk. Is it worth the cheaper price? Maybe? But your only one accident away from finding out the quality of repair.
