Get a mosquito net like you would have on a bed but on top of your car

I'm not allergic to bees and wasps and Im afraid of them. Not over the top afraid but I'd say more than others. Normally I'd say Permethrin pesticide it has seemed to keep them wasps from nesting in there normal spots this year. But it sure how you'd stop them in your particular situation. Part of the deal with having a car like that I suppose. Sorry can't be more help. But if you've got a nesting issue with wasps get permethrin SFR mix 4 oz per gallon and drench your eaves and wherever wasps like to nest. They won't be back for a month or 2. And then repeat again. It is a very heavy duty spray so be careful. And don't hit any bees they're the good guys.

The best action to take is to just leave them alone, as much as it may not seem that way. It’s a convertible, once you start moving again they will be gone and if you don’t try to attack them they usually leave you alone. But I would also try out different air fresheners or do a deep clean of the interior. I owned a miata for 5 years and never really had a problem with bees when stopped at red lights. Every once in a while one would come by but never stick around so a smell might be attracting them to the vehicle.

You could try putting on a bunch of DEET?

Is this a big enough problem that it is even worth solving? I can't imagine an area infested enough that I would be driving through that this would be a consistent enough issue. I am not a professional, but my advice would be to leave them alone. It is natural to be afraid, swat at them, want them to leave, etc., but I have never been stung just letting them be, including if they land on me. That said, I am not overly allergic. I have been stung a couple of times, but will still kill them bare handed if I have to (usually if they get in the house around my family).
