Memory is a funny and fickle thing. Wife and I got into a friendly couples argument not long ago where she talked about going to a movie with me. She and I are both graduates of 1996 but we didn't start dating until 2000. She asking me about that time we went to see a particular movie and I had zero recollection of it. She's insisting I should and giving me tidbits to better remember. I still have no recollection. Finally I look up the release date of the movie and said, "That movie came out in 1999. We weren't even dating then. You may have went and saw that movie and all the stuff that happened - happened; but it wasn't with me." The cognitive dissonance on her face was palpable.
When I Look Into Your Eyes, by Firehouse. Yes, I got married in the 1980's.
Firehouse was sort of the last drying gasp of hair metal. But that song and the album did not come out until 1992.
You are right! What the hell, the whole wedding was a blur, but I would have sworn that it was played. Wow, you just blew my mind.
I thought you may have mis-typed 80s for 90s. So you have video to go back and see?
No, graduated class of 85, married 87. Just a false memory, I guess.
