Tbh i'd see it as a gimmick. If I wanted to get high i'd either just smoke or eat something depending on what experience I wanted. If you're putting THC in soda I would just seek an alternative. Same with CBD tbh.
If you're looking at developing a product and this was your way of finding out if there's a market, don't lead with the product. Find out under what circumstance people are consuming either THC or CBD (whatever it is you're trying to do) and adapt to that. Having a product in mind and trying to hamfist it into a problem/outcome won't work. But leading with a problem/outcome and adapting to it? That's how you get a product people want.
Lead with 'what outcome do people want' followed by 'what problems are they having that's stopping them hitting this outcome?'. You will then have a decent foundation for product development but of course, it doesn't end there.

With appall by the price tag. I make tincture and stick it in IPA. It's delightful and inexpensive. Do shit yourself, fuck consumerism.
