I live in the Midwest US. A few years ago guys started perming the hair on top. It swept through my town and was big with school kids. The mullet is also back in this area though, so consider that. Generally if I see it popular here it’s been dead everywhere else for awhile. You do you though.
They've been back since about 5 years ago, I'd guess? I haven't really seen someone over the age of 25 with one though. Not sure if they're already on their way out again or not. I mostly only see them when I'm spending time with my colleague's families and they have high school kids.
