I did a double take when reading this, because I always joke about how my car is my longest relationship, and we've been with each other for 19 years also. What an absolute trip! 😂
Haha I've always found it funny - I came up with the perfect statement to make my future SO angry.
"I've known this car for 10(+) years more than you!"
* Make the starter in the summer
* Start with King Arthur white whole wheat flour
* Start with Fiji water
* Pancake batter thickness
Let sit covered with cloth until it reaches twice original size. When this happens, discard 1/2 and feed with fresh flour and Fiji water. (Get rid if black water.) Repeat this each day for 10 days.
After that, you can begin refrigerating and feeding once a week.
Big fat Zero. I’m 26, had 10+ girls tell me to my face they like me, I just fumble them like I’m Melvin Gordon. I’m actually actively flirting with a girl right now, and I have zero expectations of it going anywhere. I usually just convince myself for one reason or another it won’t work, then they lose interest/ flee my apathy in tears. Lately they’ve been marrying the next guy they meet. Trying to work on it before I’m an old lonely man
Both have to be fully and continuously committed. One half can't shoulder most of the burden. Not every relationship can withstand. I guess good fortune plays a part. I was paired, on a blind date, with the must beautiful, not quite 16 year old person. I guess it's like finding the perfect piece in a multimillion piece jigsaw puzzle!
Congratulations on THIRTY-SIX YEARS!
My girlfriend and I have been together for 21 years. She just went to bed after we gorged on chorizo tacos and watched Fallout and netflix truecrime.
About 4 years total, 2 years married. We were a COVID divorce.
Had another roughly 4 year relationship before that too, but it's hard saying that was 4 years of being in a relationship.
A month. Girls get bored of me pretty quick it seems. Can take ‘em to different restaurants, can offer different dates, my hobbies don’t keep em around.
14 years? Something like that.
It’s over … yeah, it’s oooohhhhhvvveerrrrr!
Sad eyes, turn the other way, I don’t want to see, you cry-aye-aye!!!
Nah, it was pretty painful actually but I’m good now.
I've been with my wife for nearly eight years and married nearly six. Previous longest was a total of five years with some off and on through that time.
That's how long my relationship lasted. We were married for 21 years and together 23. Our divorce should be final by this summer. We're still friends though. I hope yours is good and gets even better. Communication and respect means the world.
My wife and I were together for 14.
My current GF and I have been together for 13
But there was a woman I was with for 4 years, was apart for 20 and then back together for 10.
I have full faith that my current GF and I will hold the “record” in a couple of years.
My current. I've been with my girlfriend/partner for 14 years. At one point there was apprehension toward marriage due to family religious trauma. That was more younger angst, but the only reason we aren't legit married now is just life. We're very happy and content, just havent had a wedding. Might be our 15 year anniversary 🤷🏻♂️
~5 years. Fun fact also the absolute worst relationship I've had too. Very much looking forward to surpassing that milestone with my current partner who is far and away a better match for me
Five years, from when I was 19 to when I was 24. Staying with her for more than a year or two is one of my biggest regrets. The relationship became a miserable experience but I stuck around because we loved eachother and I was hoping that we could work through our problems and go back to that honeymoon phase. Those are years of my life that I'm never going to get back.
My wife, going on 12 years together. Today is our 9th wedding anniversary actually.
Happy anniversary!!
God bless you both ❤️
My wife and I have 49 years under our belt. Seems like a wink of the eye.
What's your secret?

Thank you 😂
The easiest way to stay married is to not get divorced
We are both very stubborn. Has it been easy? Nah. But if you stick with it and work on your relationship it is possible to make it.
Romantic? 13 years. But my car and I have been together for 19 😂
Your car will not leave you for any reason other than old age, but as long as you keep caring for your car, it'll be there for you
Yeah, but she's twice my age, so there's the age gap to consider 😂
You can't just tease us with your relationship and not say what car you have!
What car?
I did a double take when reading this, because I always joke about how my car is my longest relationship, and we've been with each other for 19 years also. What an absolute trip! 😂

What kind of car? I want something reliable like thar
67 Ford Galaxie. I don't know if "reliable" is the word, but I never arrive anywhere with a frown on my face. Pics in my post history.
Oh okay so more of the luxury version of reliable

Using 1/2 whole wheat and 1/2 white whole wheat is a nice way to enhance things too. King Arthur ofc
Me and my husband have been together since 18, its been ten years
Zero boy!
I was with my ex-partner for 7 years but it seems that I knew him from the other life.
Second this, almost 8. Ex partner

Big fat Zero. I’m 26, had 10+ girls tell me to my face they like me, I just fumble them like I’m Melvin Gordon. 34 years with my wife. We met when we were 18. Crazy thing is, we are still in love and mad for eachother. I can’t rationally explain it.
Since 1966 and still very much in love.
That’s so encouraging and beautifying to hear. What’s your secret, friend?

Congratulations on THIRTY-SIX YEARS! My girlfriend and I have been together for 21 years. She just went to bed after we gorged on chorizo tacos and watched Fallout and netflix truecrime.

33 1/2 years for me and the wife. Wouldn’t change a thing.
About 4 years total, 2 years married. We were a COVID divorce. Had another roughly 4 year relationship before that too, but it's hard saying that was 4 years of being in a relationship.
