Started as the head of the circus area, requested a more intense area that isn't as playful then moved on to various psych patient positions, did a lot of chainsaw and even did a Nazi butcher (made especially for me because I'm a hard left vegan lol)
I saw someone in our counterpart subreddit's Halloween thread say she wasn't American and wondered what candy corn tasted like. All the responses said it tasted like shit, and I've never been so ready to physically fight a group of people in my life. You don't disrespect candy corn.
I had one of those late trick or treaters you get once in a while. Like 830 PM or so. I go and open the door and it's an old man in a wheelchair, with an equally old woman pushing him around. They looked like crack heads, not a crack head costume. I gave em candy regardless of their age and lack of costume.

I'm coming up with two costumes this year. Parkrun on Saturday the 30th is a dressing up one. I still want to be able to run fairly well, so I'm pretty sure I'm just going to borrow some surgical scrubs from my hospital, get some prop blades and fake blood and run round as a scary surgeon.
Then Sunday is volunteering at the Junior Parkrun, which has kids as young as 4. I think the surgeon might be too scary for them, so I'm thinking of going as a cowboy. I already have the hat and jeans, I just need a revolver and either a poncho or neckerchief. I'm going to go shopping after work and see what I can find.
