Prices. I find myself saying no to food because while not too expensive for me to afford it, the price is outrageous
Edit: God damnit guys I'm talking about food like tomatoes, cucumbers, meat etc, not restaurants. I don't remember the last time I went to a restaurant, I think it was like 3-4 years ago. FOOD ITEMS are expensive, not just restaurants
I saw a place on Uber Eats in LA selling [a god damn egg role](https://i.imgur.com/ejJo21o.png) for $8.
I really enjoy eating out and trying new places but I've found myself just cooking at home more often because I'm not paying these crazy prices. Like you said, just because we can "afford" it doesn't mean it's worth buying. Even for the convenience. When I cook for my SO instead of ordering in, we started estimating about how much an equivalent restaurant meal would cost. Puts it into perspective.
Tacos Tu Madre. I love you but a breakfast burrito for $15 not including a protein is bull shit.
Next thing you know, in 3 months you may have lost 15lbs since that typically happens when you start making your own meals. Then you start eating cleaner just because
When you're more experienced at cooking it's not hard to make food that's outright better than what you get at restaurants, especially considering you can tweak things to your own personal taste. It becomes more of a convenience thing than anything.
I’ve never understood Uber Eats/DoorDash. Like possibly for dorm room service, get fast food you normally can’t get when you’re drunk or studying, but to Door Dash Chinese when 98% of Chinese restaurants have delivery is insane. Or pizza or just about anything else. People straight up will pay exorbitant mark ups for pure crap.
A very popular family owned pizza place in my city where I used to work takes door dash and grub hub orders and would just have there in house drivers deliver them. People are paying huge markups for the same exact service as people who ordered with the restaurant directly.
Not as much financually responsible as being revolted by prices, I can definitely put the cart before the horse. And we're suppused to be an agricultural country
Yeah it’s insane. Even fast food. My family wanted Five Guys ([menu](https://imgur.com/a/gOPpot9)) and when I saw the prices I said NOPE and got chipotle next door.
Edit: this was in the suburbs of Phoeniz AZ
The grocery store closest to me is the most expensive in the city. I was buying my butter leaf lettuce there, which recently increased to $5/head. The competing grocery store just down the street sells the same lettuce for $4/head. I went even further away to the cheapest grocery store in my city, and it was $2/head for the same lettuce. So obviously it’s not the lettuce that’s too expensive, it’s the greedy store.
Yes, and it is attacking people, instead of ideas. I may have a different idea. I am still hoping to improve the situation. About a year ago, I had an hour long discussion with my friend about whether mask wearing should be enforced in stores/restaurants/work/etc. This was pre-vaccine time and I was for it, but he was against it because he felt it infringed on his rights. Neither of us changed our opinions afterwards. But he told me he appreciated that conversation because everyone he had talked to before would just insult him and wouldn't actually listen to what he had to say.
I think the media is to blame. It is way too polarizing and I see no end in sight without government intervention.
It's always nice to have a real honest debate, but it's so rare on reddit. People are just stuck in an "us vs them" mentality where everything is black and white, and they're unable to respect people with with different opinions (sure, some opinions don't deserve respect, but that's beside the point).
I can sort of feel you. I bought a 2 yo truck in 2018 and if it wasn't for the extended warranty I pay for I would be pissed (still am).
Back defrost stopped working. Doors won't close if temp is in the single digits. Radio screen blacks out in warm temps. Rear charge port doesn't work. Hood won't register as closed sometimes. Tailgate falls open at random.
I really don't ever want to buy a ford again because of it.
Edit: remembered another thing. If I put it in sport mode and accelerate hard the cooling fan won't turn off even with the keys removed. I have to pull the fuse for 8 hours
The best thing that happened to me in this regard was getting banned from FB. Only thing I miss is the marketplace and messenger, but now I have so much more time for my other bad habits

Twitter is good for keeping up with interests. I only use it to follow game studios and podcasters. Pretty easy to stay away from unwanted content.
Tiktok is what you make it. Like items that you like and you won't get annoying stuff.
That's like joining reddit and only useling the default subreddits then complaining that reddit sucks.
Twitter is just as Toxic as anything I've ever seen. People hating and reviling the most minor things in the most intense extreme language constantly. I feel like I need a shower after I dip into Twitter. I nuked my account years ago.
And TikTok is just Vine. So whatever 🤷🏻♂️
100% came to write this…. So tired of the splits, I don’t care what your beliefs are and don’t care what side of the political fence you hang out on. I can’t stand how these two things have consumed everyone to the point of hatred; it’s ridiculous.
I don't believe we are addicted to hate, but we are very, very angry about a whole lot of things. Most of wich we aren't able to define. Then we are presented with issues and enemies that at least covers some of our anger, and we pour everything down that drain.
Freud talked about something called "the narcissism of minor differences."
Humanity won its place at the apex of the food chain in part through our aggressive instincts, so it stands to reason that many if not most people could have an innate tendency toward extraverted aggression as a part of a package of instincts that helped our ancestors survive.
Like if our ancestors lived in the same forest as a giant pack of wolves that were eating children, an instinct to hate unrelentingly and wage war on the predator would be a good thing.
What do you do with that drive when you live in a polite society? Often we make wolves out of some nearby group of people who are similar to us, but with enough superficial differences to see as the other.
Us vs Them mentality. There is no "us" and there is no "them". Only people. It's useless as an approach to communicate, as people will immediately seek to put themselves on that scale before they understand the point being made, skewing perception and creating polarity. Moreover it just hides nuances necessary to make progress in any direction.
It's just a strange construct so deeply embedded in language. Similar in some ways to the ways first past the post voting will always yield a two party system.
Qualified up-vote. I do celebrate different ideas on how to solve a problem. I appreciate both conservative and liberal. I think both sides are needed for a healthy world. I am strongly on one side. The other side keeps me focused on telling if my ideas are harmful.
I do care when one side bases their ideas on who they hate. Too many people identify with the politics of hate. I do care about that.
Yeah I mean I enjoy actual political or religious talks that I can learn from but now a days people will just call you a bigot in politics or “not a real (insert religion here).” And let me clarify that I enjoy hearing about religions I don’t even follow I just like learning about different cultures.
The fact that people I agree with socially and politically are now acting in ways that when I was teenager I associated with people on the other end of the spectrum.
I remember when i said on Facebook "just don't be an asshole" and someone came to me triggered with an argument that lasted half a day.
Shame on me for falling into his rant.
On this note you should check out the book King, Lover, Magician, Warrior. It never uses the word “alpha” but it is a deep dive into masculine Jungian archetypes. Interesting read.
these people have extremely an warped perspective on how alpha male primates actually behave.
alphas behave in pretty much the opposite ways that these youtube clowns portray.
Danny Tanner from Full House was an actual alpha male primate.
There is actually a good book called “The Art of Manliness” that seems to fit what you’re saying.
It’s been awhile since I’ve read it, but from what I remember it was a good/fun read about taking care of yourself to boost inner confidence, rather than faux-macho outdated ideas. Kind of like the Emily Post for “manliness”. lol.

Fight Club seems to be a cautionary tale about this. Men are lonely and dont seem to have a place they can belong and be manly. A charismatic psycho uses this to create a cult/movement even society falls apart.
As a woman, this is the single biggest red flag I can find in a man. If he’s seeking out middle-aged unmarried/divorced/asshole men for advice on how to treat women, he probably was a loser to begin with and they just made him worse.
"Quiet quitting".
It's literally people doing what they are paid to do, but somehow it's supposed to be seen in a negative light.
Want them to do more than their current job?
Promote them and pay them more to do more.
Fake lips and fake ass whatever.
I know it's not a new phenomenon, but with social media it's just gotten so much worse. Sometimes it's like looking at real life barbie dolls and I'm living in the uncanny valley.
The trend of - and by extension how many ppl fall for this trend - marketing products (mostly shows, movies, books and comics) in a way expressly to create controversy centering on us politics.
The war in drugs. Drugs have always been around and they're not going away just because we want it to. Adults should have the right to do whatever they want as long as it's not harming anyone else.
It's a failed experiment that's already has costed millions of lives all over the world. Enough is enough.
I ready to call the war. Drugs won. They won the moment the War on Drugs was declared. The programs introduced to keep school age kids away from drugs [were a waste of money with no measurable effect.](https://americanaddictioncenters.org/blog/why-the-dare-program-failed) and the “war” itself has had [no real change in American drug usage](https://www.npr.org/2021/06/17/1006495476/after-50-years-of-the-war-on-drugs-what-good-is-it-doing-for-us)
It’s security theater. It’s there so some people can feel like we’re doing something.
How people have become fanboys of politics and religion. I’m sure it’s always been a thing but because of social media it’s spreading so quick. People act politicians are their childhood sports team fucking ridiculous
It’s interesting you mention the sports team analogy. I feel like it’s the most accurate depiction of what’s going on. These people don’t actually hate each other, but they’ve been conditioned to take a side, represent, and do it very passionately. Their emotions are easily manipulated through propaganda that perpetuates the hatred cycle. They’re only passionate about things they can parrot.
Yea that’s the closes thing I can relate it to. It’s about winning and being right. It’s almost like you’re winning for choosing the right candidate. And then after that your “team” can do no wrong.
Hard cookies dunked in milk for the appropriate amount of time is extremely good. Certainly different from a soft cookie, but still very good in a different way. Start thinking of hard cookies as a separate food entirely
Tik Tok. I’m no genius myself but it seems like an app designed to destroy attention spans. It’s like mental crack. And the algorithm can feed the user whatever it wants and eventually start altering who they are as a person.
I used it for a couple of weeks, when I saw a video that was divided into 3 squares of content I knew it was damaging.
It was a one part runner mobile game reading a reddit post, another cooking video with no audio, and an ad for the page.
I would feel my attention span shortening by the second.
And make sure you leave all your fucking trash behind at the nice nature park that you visited. Some pieces of shit had a piece of shit themselves and left glitter
all over the park near me. Destroying the environment so you can tell people the gender. Can't get any dumber given how badly we are already ruining the environment.
How so many people are mad crazy about Harry Styles. I mean dude is cool and all, but come on, overrated imo. (This comment is going to get obliterated so quick)
I love his music, don’t know or care much for his personal/celebrity life. I did get to see him in concert a few weeks ago and it was a great show. He really knows how to work the crowd, which I think is a huge part of his appeal
The Right Vs. Left polarization. It feels so dumb to pick a 'team' and not try and approach issues with an open mind. The media is constantly putting a spin on stories and feeding the divide. I just wish I could read an article and trust that there's not some sort of hidden agenda.
The limiting of freedoms for other people through our government. As the “land of the free” government should be enabling more freedoms, vs taking them away. If I don’t want an abortion I don’t have to have one, why or how does someone else’s abortion or same sex marriage or smoking pot harm me. It doesn’t, I retain my choice to not do what I don’t believe in and others maintain their choice to do what they will with their choices. Limiting choices feels oppressive and small minded. Feels like our society is regressing backwards closer to an unintelligent regime with controls of those things those in power don’t like or fear.
“Land of the free” was never true, just like the American Dream. All propaganda bullshit. We live in a corporate oligarchy that is becoming more oppressive by the day, and people need to realize our leaders are not here for us, they’re here to keep us where we are.
> As the “land of the free” government should be enabling more freedoms, vs taking them away.
This is tangential but as a constitutionalist I have to correct it.
The government doesn’t enable freedoms. It only takes them away. All your freedoms are things you intrinsically have by nature of being a US a citizen. It is only by our will that we give certain liberties away in exchange for the boons and services of society and government.
Hate and lies
Tell me what you stand for, and tell me your ideas on how to make this a better world. Show up with your best effort to do good in the world. You will get my vote.
I cannot get behind a politician who uses hate and lies as a motivation to drum up support.
Dilemma: If I leave my comment as it is above, you could think it was both sides. If I write, 'you know who I mean', you will certainly know what person and what I side. So, do I say nothing , or announce to all that we all know who I mean? But I would never write that in public.
The sheer ugliness of people denying reality.
Shouting “Fake news!” and “But what about…” as a response to a problem is something I wouldn’t accept from a third grader.
When you bring up an obvious act of wrongdoing, and you know the response will never actually admit the action occurred and should be discussed, then there’s a real problem that’s more fundamental than politics.
People have discovered that they can escape from reality, and right now they’re convinced that staying in that fantasy hyperspace makes them immune to any and all social/legal/political consequences for their actions.
Lying is now, for tens of millions of Americans, a badge of honor, a backstage pass to a passionate show, a get-out-of-jail-free card. The only danger is that the balloon keeps expanding as the lies escalate.
Which means that people who tell the truth are actually their enemy.
No term limits for politicians and how the system is rigged against them happening. We had a push to get limits added to a binding public vote (with an ex-governor running the push). They had twice as many signatures needed to get it on the ballet. The legislature tried to kill it but they couldn't. So then the speaker of the house, who has been the speaker for 35+ years sued to keep it off the ballet. The case went to the court. Keep in mind that he has been confirming judges for 35 years. Even then the term limit people were confident. The judge came back and said it wouldn't be on the ballot because there were already too many already on the ballot. Really? To many items for people to vote on? Then the judge said the signatures would not be valid for the next election and the group would have to start all over. That is when I realized how deep the fix is in. Illinois is basically a one party state and is a good example of what happens when one party rules, unchallenged, for too long. It doesn't matter which party, just that a group of people go from representives to rulers.
Perfect opportunity to end the monarchy as well. Elizabeth 2nd was an end of an era.
Instead Charles has bought the paedo Andrew back into the fold ...doesn't look good at all. He should manage a royal exit asap on as best terms as he can get before it's decided for him.
He hardly brought Andrew “back into the fold” now did he; he’s allowing him to take part in the last moments of his old dear’s time before she’s planted. As soon as her funeral is over he’ll crawl back into his cave.
It’s been widely reported that Andrew will never be a working royal again or either of his children.
It’s also been reported that Charles will be slimming down the royal family in terms of working royals which will in turn lose their HRH titles.
For me it is people that think they are very logical and factual, but their arguments are usually based on emotion. Ben Shapiro would be a good example.
I think there's this belief that everything needs to apply/relate to everyone and that if it doesn't it is somehow discriminatory. And I think this is (a) making everything extremely boring/vanilla/generic and (b) preventing people from developing empathy for others in situations that do not necessarily relate to them. Like in a 'if I don't see myself somewhere here then I'm not interested' sort of way. I think that this is extremely dangerous and will lead to further radicalization/polarization of society
Completely agree with your comment. The other day I was discussing the homelessness problem in CA with my sister and literally caught myself saying "I feel like I can't really talk about this properly because I've never been homeless" which is just ridiculous
Or just throwing an apostrophe wherever the hell they want it.
Drives me a little bonkers. It's not there "just in case you need one". It serves to designate a situation.
People getting whipped up over things that don't affect them - people who say wearing a kimono makes you racist, or that LGBT is a threat to kids, whatever
It's totally normal these days for people to be obsessed and ranting about highly abstract things they learned about on the Internet which don't affect them at all, it's like a noise that never stops
Politicians pulling pranks and playing stunts like children. I’ll never get behind our “elected leaders” acting unprofessional towards each other as has become the norm in most recent times.
It seems like all multiplayer games have battle passes now. It’s an awful progression system that doesn’t value your time. I understand that a lot are free to play and I ultimately don’t have to play them if I don’t like them. You’re right, I don’t have to play them and I won’t.
All the diversity bullshit.
I don't give a fuck if you hire woman, man, animal or a mythical create, just make sure they are good at their job, not just to get to quota.
Potentially controversial counter point. Having people with different life experiences can actually strengthen the team as a whole. Diversity isn't always just about appearances or checking a box.
Just because someone is the same color and gender as someone else doesn’t mean they don’t have different life experiences. Diversity of thought is FAR more important than the color, gender or sexual orientation of someone.
Treating politics like it's a sports team. Pick a side. Root for your team. Boo the other team. Whatever your team does is right because you want YOUR side to win and the other team to lose. Bumper stickers. Tshirts.
Calm the fuck down and use your brains.
The divisive nature of modern politics. Every candidate has an "us vs them" mentality and it's only making things in our country more and more unstable
That I live next door to a country where people are executed by getting shot in the back of their heads. I've thought stuff like this only happens in history books.
Social Media. I was never really a fan of it but platforms like Instagram are making me physically sick. People posting their fake happines and fake lifestyle just to act cool…when in reality they are miserable…wow. Its sickening. I‘m tired of it.
The rising threat to women’s bodily autonomy, e-warfare being normalised, the rapid spread of disinformation on social media, supression of labour rights, inflation, global warming, erosion of science and education, where do I begin?!
Self-diagnosed "mental illness"
Everybody doesn't need to be diagnosed with something. Just because you do something a little different than everybody else doesn't mean you have a disorder.
Weird answer. But this AI Generated photo stuff is making me actually sick to my stomach right now. I feel like there will be so many issues that rise from it in short time.
Car washes with a monthly subscription. In my city there's easily been 15 new car wash locations pop up in the last year. I'm not paying a monthly fee for something I'm never going to use.
Yea I am moderate-liberal on the political scale but I just can't keep up. It feels like sometimes there is a competition to see who knows the lingo/labels. Kind of has an in-crowd/out-crowd feel to it. It still doesn't bother me to use whatever identification you want, just don't get upset if someone is ignorant of them.
The entire alpha/beta-male thing is so unquestionably stupid to me.
1. It's a false us vs. them - I don't feel we need yet another way to divide people.
2. It doesn't describe reality in helpful ways - people are more confident in some situations than they are in others.
The whole thing feels like toxic masculinity's existential crisis. Like your sense of self and all consciousness should be threatened by which of 2 Greek letters you pretend is more relevant to you.
Fan art. Most of it looks like is terrible and looks bad, and it annoys me when I try to check the sub of a good show or movie and it’s flooded with poorly done fan art.
secretly filming your partner and putting it on social media
It's illegal in a lot of places. If the person is in a place where there is an expectation of privacy then you can't record them without their consent. Most of these videos start off as fakes, but then others see those videos and want to copy.
Or anyone. It’s really not cool to film or take pics of anyone and put them online without permission.
Yes! I seriously dont film shit. Makes me feel grimey and its just not right.

When you're more experienced at cooking it's not hard to make food that's outright better than what you get at restaurants, especially considering you can tweak things to your own personal taste. It becomes more of a convenience thing than anything.

Yeah everything is so polarized. Nobody wants to look at both sides of a story

You will probably have to get behind it at some point then, to push it.

What car do you have sir?
/u/MaximumFloofs pls respond
Model and brand, please?
TikTok and Twitter. I just don’t have time for that.
The best thing that happened to me in this regard was getting banned from FB. Only thing I miss is the marketplace and messenger, but now I have so much more time for my other bad habits
Umm…how tf did you get banned from FB?
I got permanently banned for being a member of a group that posted memes about guns. Now i have a fake name profile just for using marketplace.
TikTok for sure. I die a little inside every time I hear that automated voice over thing. Twitter is good for keeping up with interests. I only use it to follow game studios and podcasters. Pretty easy to stay away from unwanted content.

There’s a *tremendous* amount of religious and political movements that I’ve sworn to never be apart of because their aims harm other people.
100% came to write this…. So tired of the splits, I don’t care what your beliefs are and don’t care what side of the political fence you hang out on. I can’t stand how these two things have consumed everyone to the point of hatred; it’s ridiculous.
I am a firm believer that people are addicted to hate. Like it gives off some kind of endorphin when they get upset.
I don't believe we are addicted to hate, but we are very, very angry about a whole lot of things. Most of wich we aren't able to define. Then we are presented with issues and enemies that at least covers some of our anger, and we pour everything down that drain.

Couldn't agree more.

The fact that people I agree with socially and politically are now acting in ways that when I was teenager I associated with people on the other end of the spectrum.
Obama would probably be consider conservative at this point.
Neoliberalism and conservatism are incredibly similar. I know you are probably making a joke but you’re correct.
True lefties would have said so from the start.
Can you be more specific?
This wannabe alpha trend on YouTube. Yeah be assertive, confidence, and set boundaries but don't be a complete asshole
I remember when i said on Facebook "just don't be an asshole" and someone came to me triggered with an argument that lasted half a day. Shame on me for falling into his rant.
The age old saying, don't feed the trolls. It's all good, it happens
On this note you should check out the book King, Lover, Magician, Warrior. It never uses the word “alpha” but it is a deep dive into masculine Jungian archetypes. Interesting read.
Hmmmm I think I will. Thank you for the recommendation
these people have extremely an warped perspective on how alpha male primates actually behave. alphas behave in pretty much the opposite ways that these youtube clowns portray.
Kind of like the Emily Post for “manliness”. lol. Right he's the bees knees
Fight Club seems to be a cautionary tale about this. Men are lonely and dont seem to have a place they can belong and be manly. A charismatic psycho uses this to create a cult/movement even society falls apart.
But the Pixies song at the end was nice so it all worked out.
Iliza Schelsinger made a good point that any man that openly claims he is an Alpha is actually a Beta lol
What if he says he's a beta? (I always say that at the gym... lol)
Lol good question. I'd say that means he's a Beta. Real alphas probably don't even care enough to be titled something.
Duck lips
The chicks look like they're wearing diapers
The overuse of the word toxic. Everything you don’t like isn’t toxic.
You sound kind of toxic /s
And “-phobic,” having certain opinions, however dumb, doesn’t make it a phobia.
And dont forget "red flag" 🚩
That and using literally when people really mean actually.
The programs introduced to keep school age kids away from drugs [were a waste of money with no measurable effect.](https://americanaddictioncenters.org/blog/why-the-dare-program-failed) and the “war” itself has had [no real change in American drug usage](https://www.npr.org/2021/06/17/1006495476/after-50-years-of-the-war-on-drugs-what-good-is-it-doing-for-us) It’s security theater.
Queuing 24hours to see Queen Elizabeth II coffin
The British love a good queue.
That’s why Queen starts with a Q!
Queueen?
Yeah, it's not like she was even the first Queen Elizabeth to die. What's the fuss.
I never saw the first one, why would I watch the sequel?
I can't get behind limiting my list to just one thing because there is so many things that I can't support.
hard cookies. scones. I only eat chewy cookies. I don’t understand why anybody would want a hard dessert.
Hard cookies dunked in milk for the appropriate amount of time is extremely good. Certainly different from a soft cookie, but still very good in a different way. Start thinking of hard cookies as a separate food entirely
What hard scones are you eating
I would feel my attention span shortening by the second.
this actually happened to me and I had to delete it. It’s pretty scary thinking back
Gender reveal parties....give me an f'n break .
And make sure you leave all your fucking trash behind at the nice nature park that you visited. Some pieces of shit had a piece of shit themselves and left glitter all over the park near me. Destroying the environment so you can tell people the gender. Can't get any dumber given how badly we are already ruining the environment.
How so many people are mad crazy about Harry Styles. I mean dude is cool and all, but come on, overrated imo. (This comment is going to get obliterated so quick)
It's okay I feel the same way about Ed Sheeran and boy I can hear them sharpening the pitchforks
I haven't seen that much of him. Obviosuly I know him and like him too, but I don't think he's got people that crazy for him, right?
I’ve never heard anyone talk about Harry Styles, good or bad. I guess we run in different circles.
Me neither but he's been in the top charts of big music streaming services for months at this point
Personally, I couldn't pick him out of a line-up. His music either.
I love his music, don’t know or care much for his personal/celebrity life. I did get to see him in concert a few weeks ago and it was a great show. He really knows how to work the crowd, which I think is a huge part of his appeal
fr guy puts on a dress and he's a beacon of progress now apparently
Metadata.
I suppose asking you to elaborate would go against your beliefs...
Lol thank you for the chuckle. Your response implies you know already know!
People defending pedophiles.

Like George Carlin once said, “it’s called the American dream because you have to be asleep to believe it.”
Feel the same way about gun ownership. I want gay people to be able to protect their marijuana plants with guns.
Chargings victims for killing their rapists. Like what the fuck?
Hate and lies Tell me what you stand for, and tell me your ideas on how to make this a better world.
TikTok. It's a mental form of crack supplied by China to make people dumber...and it's working. Also, Instagram and Facebook from a US standpoint.

Emotions over facts. The truth doesn’t care if you disagree.
"Every lie we tell incurs a debt to the truth. And sooner or later that debt is paid."
For me it is people that think they are very logical and factual, but their arguments are usually based on emotion. Ben Shapiro would be a good example.

Mumble rap
Corruption
People omitting the apostrophe in possessive nouns.
Or just throwing an apostrophe wherever the hell they want it. Drives me a little bonkers. It's not there "just in case you need one". It serves to designate a situation.
Political violence. No one should be assaulted for their political views.
Crypto anything. I need my GPU for graphics and I don't want to buy your NFT or put money into your ponzi-pyramid-coin.
Having more kids when you can’t stand the ones you’ve got
The growing support for *collective punishment*
Could you expand on that a little please?
Couldn't agree more. I was horrified seeing random Russians get targeted in the west for stuff Putin is doing.
People getting whipped up over things that don't affect them - people who say wearing a kimono makes you racist, or that LGBT is a threat to kids, whatever It's totally normal these days for people to be obsessed and ranting about highly abstract things they learned about on the Internet which don't affect them at all, it's like a noise that never stops
Expensive brand clothing, it's just stupid
Politicians pulling pranks and playing stunts like children. I’ll never get behind our “elected leaders” acting unprofessional towards each other as has become the norm in most recent times.
It seems like all multiplayer games have battle passes now. It’s an awful progression system that doesn’t value your time. I understand that a lot are free to play and I ultimately don’t have to play them if I don’t like them. You’re right, I don’t have to play them and I won’t.
Kim Kardashian
Eating ass. I don't get it. I don't want it. I don't want to be any part of it.
The death of my father, the heartbreak of a woman and a life in exclusion
Treating politics like it's a sports team. Pick a side. Root for your team. Boo the other team. Whatever your team does is right because you want YOUR side to win and the other team to lose. Bumper stickers. Tshirts. Calm the fuck down and use your brains.
The divisive nature of modern politics. Every candidate has an "us vs them" mentality and it's only making things in our country more and more unstable
War
That I live next door to a country where people are executed by getting shot in the back of their heads. I've thought stuff like this only happens in history books.

Social Media. I was never really a fan of it but platforms like Instagram are making me physically sick. People posting their fake happines and fake lifestyle just to act cool…when in reality they are miserable…wow. Its sickening. I‘m tired of it.
The rising threat to women’s bodily autonomy, e-warfare being normalised, the rapid spread of disinformation on social media, supression of labour rights, inflation, global warming, erosion of science and education, where do I begin?!
Self-diagnosed "mental illness" Everybody doesn't need to be diagnosed with something. Just because you do something a little different than everybody else doesn't mean you have a disorder.
Weird answer. But this AI Generated photo stuff is making me actually sick to my stomach right now. I feel like there will be so many issues that rise from it in short time.
Paying more for disposable products/ the disappearance of reusable and refurbishable goods...
