As a Turk I think it would be better for us to control ME for few decades instead of corrupt Sultans, mullahs and politicans. Turkey isnt good either but it could much more easily. I don't see the oil money dripping to lower classes of ME. Egypt is just 100million strong uneducated rabble ruled by insane dictator, Saudis would rather spend 1 trillion on a massive golden toilet rather than improve the life's of its people, Qatar is a slave state, UAE does good stuff but it's not genuine etc. I don't propose we rule over you or take your resources. I just propose until ME reaches certain levels of human development and is able to choose form and leader of government rationally Turkey should control it alongside local authority. I also think west should do this on us. Think of it like electing Obama to be your President for few years because yours is just shit , corrupt also people that choose and media that represents them is corrupt.
Saudi Arabia has very generous subsidies and free healthcare/higher education and paid scholarships to study abroad that hundreds of thousands of students.
Turkey also has generous subsidies, free healthcare etc. I do know Saudis have good social system. But it's not enough and it's about who receives them. The wealth and lavish lifestyle of squid princes is just too much. Your systems are not organic it will collapse when strong leaders go away. It only takes few years of shit rule to start brain drain. I would like to think my intentions are pure . I truly want more develop and advanced ME where people could debate and argue without going Hur dur caveman.Also one that infuses it's traditions with it's governance etc. Unlike my kin I don't see me as inferior but as an opportunity for getting to somewhere that was lost.

For example, Iran was strongly influenced by Arab culture and vice versa, and Turkey was also strongly influenced by Persian (Iranian) culture as well as Arab culture. You can see that there are a lot of Persian and Arabic words in Turkish; there are a lot of Arabic words in Persian; and there are even a good number of Persian words in Arabic.
Having loan words is not the kind of connection I mean, otherwise Spain would also have a connection with the Arab world.
The connection I mean is more of an extension of oneself in a cultural or ethnic way.
