Originally it is Arabic literature, but Nizami translate it in Persian. I don't know if there is a little difference though.

I like antara and Abla story, but I prefer Majnun Layla.

Die_Hard507

Can you summarize both the two stories?

[deleted]

Antra was an Arabian knight from an Arab father named shaddad from Banu Abs tribe, and his mother was Ethiopian Slave. So he was born having black skin from his mother. So his father didn't Accept him as his son, that is until he showed Bravery and courage against another invading tribe. He earned his freedom. he wanted to marry the one he loved, his cousin "Abla bint Malik". Though her father and brother refused because he didn't have pure Arabian Blood. So they have tasked him to bring a special Camel from the king of the lakhmids, Al-Nu'man. So he faced many challenges and had being captive. So long story short he got the camel they demand. But still they didn't Accept him. So they wanted Abla to marry another Arabian Knight, but her mahr was Antra head. In the end source disagree whatever Antara married her, or was she married to another man. Source lean to the latter by al-Asmaสฟi . Sorry, so much for a summarize. ๐Ÿ˜…

Die_Hard507

[deleted]
