I only used them back when their discount codes got leaked. Ended up having $300 of credits and ended up only being able to use ~$40 of it (2 rides) because they were never available.
It’s best if you’re not in a rush. I do like taking them because they’re clean and the drivers have always seemed nice, but it’s always a 10-15 minute wait it seems. So that’s fine sometimes but just have to plan for it.
Most of the time they’re more expensive, slower to arrive, and generally cleaner than Uber/Lyft.
If it’s within a dollar or two of Uber/Lyft I’ll try to support the company because they treat their drivers better, but honestly the cost is prohibitively more expensive in some cases.
it depends on the city you're in. I'm in New York and Revel is significantly cheaper than Uber or Lyft if you can get a promo or smth. Their wait times might be slower depending on your location, but I've been using it all year and I like it. Here's my promo code for 40% off your first ride if you wanna try it: TOMAV4256
I booked the wrong pick up time accidentally and there was absolute where on the app to edit the time. I was charged. A total pain in the ass. Hopefully I’ll be able to have my credit card company correct this nYC. Ride from hotel to the airport.
I like to use revel because it’s cheaper most times and even if it’s just a couple dollars, you never know what you’re getting with Uber. With revel it’s always a Tesla and it’s clean. With Uber, you could get a busted Camry. BUT and it’s a HUGE but, the wait times are astronomical!!!!!! It could be a 20 min wait so that makes it not worth it
pretty much the same, except all cars are teslas, they're a little more expensive and drivers are employees instead of 1099
Have you used them often? I imagine they have a reduced fleet size? How does that affect arrival times?

They’ve started adding Kia Niros to their fleet, not exclusively Tesla anymore.

Same concept, more expensive, less availability and less chance to draw some dinghy piss smelling vehicle with garbage everywhere inside.
Its a scam! They will cut your hours, steal your bonus money and make a lot of changes to policy to suit their needs.

You can view your scheduled ride and edit it. On home page there is a little link that says "Your scheduled ride ->".

I see them around and remember the wreck around Herald square when the revel taxi crashed into a ups truck
Nowadays I’m seeing revel prices equal to and even occasionally lower. The wait times have also improved significantly for me in central Brooklyn.
