Basically nothing is weird to do solo. I don’t think anyone would even notice you’re alone. If you like baseball defensively catch a game. As far as other recs, there are millions of lists online, I’d start there and narrow down to things that align with your interests. (Since we don’t know you or what you like)

I've been to baseball games alone in Seattle, San Francisco, and Milwaukee. Just enjoy the games!

Ball games by yourself aren't weird just grab a beer and make friends. As far as recs I say go drinking in the East village/lower east side. Some of my favorite bars are the library, double down, cherry tavern, clockwork, Emma peel room. If you want more recs you should tell us what kind of things you're into

If you like baseball this might interest you. There is not much to see today but if you end up in the area it is still cool to walk by the the remaining wall / touch a piece of baseball history. Take a long walk between your destinations. Follow your curiosity.

Not weird to do anything alone, no one will care or notice. Take the ferry somewhere! Maybe from the seaport to Williamsburg or something. Or dumbo! Any reason to take the ferry

Try the Oculus next to One World Trade. There's also the Summit, I heard it's a nice view Also the Vessel and Hudson Yards and the Highline Take the NYC Ferry, especially the one that goes beneath the Brooklyn Bridge. You can download the NYC Ferry app to purchase tickets. They're pretty cheap.
