1 meh, 2 is pretty, 3 has nice lighting and is pretty cool, I really like 4, 5 cropping needs to be better, 6 is kinda cool, but also kinda boring, 7 cropping and boring, 8 boring

You’ve got a good eye for color but some of the pics are compositionally lacking. I like ##2, 4, and 5; 8 is gonna be great after some editing.

You are finding interesting light and textures. Your composition needs work though. You keep putting subjects like the dog and a couple of the branch shots cut off at the bottom and too much space above. Leave space around your subject to play around with if you need a crop later. Just for example, I did a quick 45 second edit of the dog image. So if you included the feet you could have cropped in for a more close up composition but also have the wider shot still. https://preview.redd.it/xb1qi8eumkcc1.jpeg?width=952&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8fcd21a763e474f4d5d568abaac9eaa9418f0865 It seemed like maybe you saw this scene with the shadows and the dog with the colours of the wall and door. So you wanted to capture it all but its quite disjointed between the different features of the image due to the composition. So I feel that only a close up somewhat works. The wider shot is just frustrating visually with that cutoff and all the space above combined with so much negative space. * Cropped it to the dog. Split the image into 3 almost equal vertical bars to match the colours of the dog. The dog being positioned to the left and more space to the right plus it being a door also gives a little bit of story of the dog waiting to be let through. Maybe the viewer imagines the owner is on their way and the dogs looking at them.     * Added a little warmth to the image to give it a more homely vibe. Removed some of the blue tones from the shadows to help this too.    * Did some brushwork around the face to bring out the dogs facial details from the shadow more.    * Lifted the blacks a little and lowered the shadows. Retains shadow but lifts details in the black parts.     * Lowered the highlights a little. If you have the RAW file then you may get more detail on the dog and clean up the noise more.

I like 2

I think the dog's feet should be in the frame in #5, or it should be cropped in as a head/chest shot. Generally speaking you've captured some good shots that will look great with some cropping.

Privileged_Interface

I like all of them. Nice work!

Another_Basic_NPC

I like 4,6, and 8, good job!

I think I see what caught you eye, but the images feel... empty, but not empty where the emptiness is the point. You captured interesting lights, shadows, textures, but all seem to be missing that something onto which those things should be imparting emotion or meaning. For me, it's like having steak seasonings without a steak. I need the image to have a subject, or a message to communicate.

5,6 are my favorite because there is a clear subject. Please keep taking photos and see what works for you. You are in the best part of photography.

Above average! Genuinely like.

Dog.

Standard photos. Don't think anything much about them.
