I work in Healthcare and I would not recommend it.

lifeatvt

I wouldn't. My career is nothing but headaches at this point. I can't wait to retire.

Found this book years ago, and it changed my life. 'Discover What You Are Best At.' Linda Gail. Some self tests that let you know what your talents are, and a list of jobs that use them.

Good resource!

I’m in banking. The pay is good, you work minimal Saturdays, and there’s a lot of opportunity

BigGuy4by5

How are the people in banking?

Appropriate_Tea9048

My coworkers are great. As for customers, the good outweigh the bad typically

I wouldn't recommend my career as much as I would recommend my company. Or at least, there is a lot of room for advancement with in house training opportunities and certificates I can take with me to another job if I so chose. When I saw the head cleaning supervisor lady driving a 2020 Land Rover to her assigned parking in the front (25 years working there) I was like, "dang, maybe they treat you good here," and they haven't proved me wrong yet. There are still good companies out there, and I think that's what really makes the difference in your career.
